Vacation rentals in Magpopongko Rock Pools and Flats

Our stay was quite unforgettable! Unfortunately we arrived at the villa one day after the whole island was with power down because of an electricity cable was damaged. We stayed there for 3 nights, and thankfully for us, either Tiara, Racel and Drew went far and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! Communication was priceless at times like this, and they arranged a last minute generator for us that "saved our lives" from the heat and humidity, a mosquito net for our bed and cause there was no power for the water pump to work, they provided two huge buckets of water so we could shower and drink potable water. It's in times like this where you can see who makes effort to make sure guests are ok and pleased, so I definitely recommend staying here, cause everyone will make sure you're having the best time of you life. Thank you so much once again for everyone that made sure we had everything we needed :)

I would give 10 stars if I could. This home had the magic of the Casita from Encanto. Every detail attended to. The private beach enabled pick up and drop off for private tours right from the backyard. Our kids loved the massive bunk beds. Abe was magic too- greeting us at the door like a true host welcoming us into his home. Their cooking was phenomenal. And Abe even arranged a rental car to be dropped off upon our arrival! We’ve already decided we will be returning. This home made for a lifetime of Siargao memories.

Great villa! Such a beautiful set up and everything works well. Only issue is that to get to the villa there is a very bumpy long road which is hard for Tuktuks and bikes to go down, but otherwise everything was great!

Aaron was very responsive and displayed concern when our flight got redirected. He constantly checked in and adjusted to the changes when we missed the van that was supposed to fetch us from the airport, made arrangements for our port pick up and some requests we made while at the place. The location was just right for what we wanted - not too far from the famous spots but also laid back and peaceful.We will definitely be back and book with IAO Surf Camp again next year!

We loved our stay at Alaia Hideaway. Tanny and Angelo were very welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. The villa is great and we loved the pool and the tropical rainforest setting. We liked being a short distance from the centre of General Luna but it does mean you need your own transport - Angelo helped organise a Tuktuk rental and was also able to help with his tricycle any time we needed it.

Overall it was exactly as listed. The location cannot be beat if you want to surf or hangout in Cloud 9. There are four breaks that you can choose from and tons of board rentals, from foam tops to good long and short boards. Additionally there is a grocery store across the street, and laundry and massages almost next door. Plus lots of good restaurants in very short walking distance. And the grounds of their complex are beautiful. Eugenia (Frederic's mom) is your actual on-site host and she is awesome. She is super helpful and responsive and nice. She invited us for a beer when we arrived and helped us with requests and info about the area. The AC - this was a concern, having stayed in places that advertised AC but not delivered. The AC here works super well. The internet was only so-so. Had to keep asking for top-ups. Beds/bedding clean and comfy. Living room furniture very hard and uncomfortable, but exactly as shown, so no surprises. Great place for price. Just wish had a sofa.

Jens was very accommodating despite the Island having no power. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable, especially at night. The location of the house is walkable to other restaurants, entertainments, and gift shops. I also liked that the community respects one another and are mindful! Truly an amazing place to stay at! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve started our trip by staying at Catharina and Ben’s place. We stayed four nights in this paradise. Certainly the most peaceful and beautiful place of Siargao island. You feel like alone in the crossing of two beaches, with an incredible view on few islands in front. The home is perfectly equipped, there is a big and comfortable bed. You can enjoy a lovely breakfast and dinner, we really enjoyed the food (fresh fish). I can only recommend this stay. It is located near to cloud 9 area where you can find everything (restaurant, beach club with pool, spa, surf shops…). Our host has made everything to make our life easier (motorbike reservation, airport transfert..). There is so much things to discover around. Thanks again for this first experience in Philippines, which will be unforgettable :)
