Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Magog

The farmhouse is a fantastic place with cool theme and great amenities. Woodwork is amazing! We enjoyed the gas stove and lots of warm brackets after a cold day skiing. Location was close to Jay Peak as well as great restaurants. Gary and Joanna are great hosts and it’s clear they have put a lot of thought and care into their home. We would absolutely rent again for a future trip!

Great place to book for a ski trip to the nearby mountains. Host was very responsive and our stay was excellent at the house. Would recommend you have a car with snow tires if coming from the States in the winter, or awd/4x4, since the roads in the neighborhood are covered in snow.

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Quaint farmhouse in the middle of the mountains, gorgeous fall foliage, nice surrounding town. We visited the Vermont Apple Orchards about 25 minutes away and that was fun! We also walked up along the road/trail and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. One take-away from the experience is the significant amount of lady bugs/insects we encountered not only directly outside of the house, but inside the house. They were everywhere: particularly, along the walls, on the ceiling, in the shower, flying over our heads as we sat on the couch or bed. Was a bummer that we had to take 30 minutes out of each day to sweep away the insects/lady bugs in order to enjoy our peace and quiet. We asked the host about this and his property manager answered that it is what it is in this case, though I recommend perhaps working on the infrastructure of the home to better mitigate this issue.

Incredible and very unique airbnb. My partner and I stayed here to go skiing at Mont Sutton and Jay Peak. The place is very cozy and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable and wonderful stay. Eric & Mel are great hosts and have a great eye for detail. They greeted us warmly and we felt right at home. We wished we could have stayed longer to truly enjoy all the place has to offer.

Very nice, clean, and well appointed large home in the heart of Newport. We enjoyed the location and the house in town and proximity to other local attractions. Would recommend to any large groups traveling to the NEK!

This is one of the best AirBnB experiences we have had. One of the best location for a farmhouse you can ask far. Secluded, beautiful environment with abundant wildlife and great views.

My daughter arrived before us and she texted us this: The house is sick in head. She thought it was very beautiful and modern. The kitchen is very clean and orderly. Everything was there. Easy to cook and at the same time chat with the people who are there. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were really beautiful and modern. The fenestration was superb. We were surrounded by nature. The hot tub was superb and we enjoyed it en masse. On Saturdays we went skiing in Owls Head which is only a 10 min drive away. We requested a late checkout and Martin allowed us to stay later. Unfortunately, the propane fireplace wasn't working. We asked Martin for help and he gave us the instructions, however there was nothing to do, he just didn't want to turn on. So to summarize, it is absolutely necessary that you rent this house!!

We rent from Claire quite often. It's always the first place we look at to see if the apartment is available when we go to Sherbrooke. It's always very clean, cozy, quiet and well kept. David was quick to respond and provided all the information needed prior to our arrival. The place was exactly what we expected from the listing’s information and pictures. Easy ski in/ski out was exactly what we wanted and what we got. The place has a great view for over looking the main areas of the ski resort. Would recommend to anyone looking for a convenient ski vacation.

What a beautiful spot. We had a perfect trip. There was a small issue with the internet before we got there. Marie Josee communicated everything to us and made sure it was all taken care of. She went out of her way to get the internet fixed on a Saturday. The house is so quiet and private at the end of the road. Felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Our whole group was very impressed. Nice finishes, well appointed rooms, fully stocked kitchen. Can't say enough good things about it.

Comfortable and quiet place near Compton! Beautiful house that has retained all its charm and very close to bike lanes! Spacious room, very clean and comfortable bed! I would go back there without hesitation! We recommend this spot.

This property is a fantastic retreat for families to come together. The rooms are beautifully furnished to reflect the style and era of the house, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We stayed here over New Year’s, and it was the perfect getaway to reconnect and spend quality time together. Despite the chilly weather, the house remained cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. We did notice a few small maintenance items that probably need repair, but they didn’t impact our stay.. Everything was clean and well-maintained, with the grounds offering lovely, scenic walks. The hot tub and game room added the perfect finishing touches to a wonderful experience. The hosts were responsive and helpful, addressing questions we had via chat. We would stay here again—it was a wonderful experience.
