Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Magog

The house was exactly as listed. Had everything we needed. Very peaceful location, exactly what we were looking for. Chris let us know he was available if we needed anything or had any questions. Would definitely rent again if we re-visit the area.

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Quaint farmhouse in the middle of the mountains, gorgeous fall foliage, nice surrounding town. We visited the Vermont Apple Orchards about 25 minutes away and that was fun! We also walked up along the road/trail and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. One take-away from the experience is the significant amount of lady bugs/insects we encountered not only directly outside of the house, but inside the house. They were everywhere: particularly, along the walls, on the ceiling, in the shower, flying over our heads as we sat on the couch or bed. Was a bummer that we had to take 30 minutes out of each day to sweep away the insects/lady bugs in order to enjoy our peace and quiet. We asked the host about this and his property manager answered that it is what it is in this case, though I recommend perhaps working on the infrastructure of the home to better mitigate this issue.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place is cozy/warm with a chalet vibe and at the same time very modern with everything you can possibly need. The hosts (Eric and Mel) are very responsive and attentive. They checked in every so often to make sure we had everything we needed. You are situated on the 2nd floor and the hosts live downstairs, however you would never even know as its very quiet.I noticed in some reviews people saying there were noises in the morning, in our case this was simply the central vacuum the morning we were checking out. It was not an issue for us! The views from this second floor rental are magnificent and we would love to come back in the summer and take advantage of the outdoor space. Thank you to our hosts for such a great 2 nights away!

Can’t say enough good things about Danny and his place. I came up for a snow trip. The location alone was worth it, as Jay Peak is less than 10 min away! Place is cozy, clean, and has plenty of space. Bed was comfortable and the views were beautiful. Really great for a winter getaway. Danny was extremely responsive and helpful. I can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Diane's place was too short but fantastic! We were there for a weekend, two families with a total of 5 kids. We loved this old house, well maintained and with plenty of space. The house is wonderful, very clean and well equiped. With 6 individual bedrooms, each with their own door, everyone slept really well in the comfy beds. There were plenty of extra warm blankets and immaculate white towels. The dining room was our favorite : we really enjoyed the warm and welcoming decor and had wonderful meals there by the fireplace. Perfect stay, we hope to be back!

Ryan took a 1900's home and converted the inside to a cozy, spacious, comfortable up to date get away. The charm of the house is not lost in the rustic outside of the house. Wonderfully stocked kitchen and utensils and towels and towels and more towels (it was great). On a hill with views of the lake and mountains (when we went) and sunrise were appreciated. Close to town and other charms of Newport. Ryan is gracious host. Where else can you park your truck in a garage? Hoping to revisit Newport in the Spring and his house.

Brigitte was very responsive and friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day of travel. The location was perfect for us and the surroundings were beautiful, would definitely recommend this place!

I visited with 3 others and the beautiful, open concept, contemporary space was perfect for a friend’s weekend. Elevator access was a plus. The apartment was made extra cozy with the gas fireplace, and comfortable beds. The convertible couch was as expected (coin toss for that). The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. We took our AM coffees to the lovely roof terrace with views of the ski hill and space for a little yoga. We visited a nearby spa, so did not use the hot tubs or fire pit located on the property (sadly too late for the pool), but we checked them out and it all looked terrific, if you have the inclination. Our host was extremely accommodating and prompt in her response to questions. We would absolutely stay in Helene’s properties again!

Perfect location in Magog. We were there for work and we loved the penthouse. The view, the terrace and the spa. There is plenty of space and everything was comfortable. Chic and tasteful. Yannick is very effective in communications and was very accommodating for our specific needs. I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful setting in the eastern townships. Bed was comfortable. Everything in kitchen we would need. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and quiet place near Compton! Beautiful house that has retained all its charm and very close to bike lanes! Spacious room, very clean and comfortable bed! I would go back there without hesitation! We recommend this spot.

Stay with 6 friends and we were very happy with our getaway. The house was large with a lot of privacy in the bedrooms spread over 3 floors. All the amenities worked perfectly and there were plenty of dishes and utensils for cooking. Thanks to the landlord for their availability. We recommend it and hope to do it again next year!

Perfect stay with friends (6 couples). Truly an amazing setup both outside with tennis, the place for fire and inside with several rooms with a lot of character. The only more negative sides were the comfort of the beds and an issue with the SPA water but the host responded well. I'm going to suggest it to others and we'll definitely go back
