Our stay at Quinta Kakelbont was the best! Loved that we could do day trips in Lagos and surrounding towns and come back to the quiet and very relaxing cottage. Sjoukje and Carlos are the perfect hosts while also allowing for plenty of privacy. I highly recommend this airbnb.

Situated next to Monachil, with stunning views over the valley, it's a beautiful location and a beautiful place. Monachil has restaurants and amenities 5-10 minutes' drive away. There's beautiful hikes through the mountains and along the Monachil river nearby. The Pradollano ski station is about 30 minutes' drive away, and most of the road is away from the main traffic from Granada. The cabin is charming (nearly everything seems handmade with love) if not always the most practical (the outside kitchen gets cold after dark in the winter, same for the outside toilet - there is a sink and a shower inside though). There is no wifi, but the internet reception on my phone was good. My partner communicated with the host via messages (in Spanish) and everything went super smoothly

Peaceful and beautiful. The view, the landscape, the friendly owners - just perfect for everyone who values nature and a certain level of remoteness. We wished we could have stayed longer....

Ana and Antonio are super sweet people and I felt very welcome. The cottage is very nice, you are really private there and my dogs were allowed to run and play throughout the garden. Thank you Ana and Antonio, hopefully we will come back soon😁☀️

I highly recommend it, it's crazy to find yourself without this quiet and soothing little corner of heaven. You will enjoy the light curtains of the sun (magical moments). Very functional accommodation with a certain charm. We'll be back with great pleasure! Thanks for everything

The right place to be, the host super host 👍

Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

From a container, a super cozy little home was created with solid materials , skill, creativity and taste. All lovers of tiny homes will immediately feel at home. It is quiet and peaceful at Tanya's on her small garden property - her brunch is not to be missed - it tastes excellent . Tanya was always available and super nice - her cat too. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you

What a paradise this cottage on top of the mountain. Breakfast at the point overlooking the mountains and sea. You will relax completely. The cottage and terrace are super photogenic. We (2 friends) both had our own bed. One had one separate bedroom the other bedroom is a kind of between room that could also be closed off with curtains as a bedroom. Everything is present in the cottage, which saves a lot of groceries (kitchen herbs toilet paper, etc.). Everything is super comfortable and Gema and Helga always respond very quickly if you have questions. In short, this place is highly recommended. We hope to come back again❤️. Absolutely perfect stay! The apartment is even more beautiful than it looks in the description. Our personal highlights were the outdoor shower (in addition to a conventional shower) and the campfire area. Super idyllic and quiet. Car highly recommended. Jay is a super nice helpful and fun host who gives you plenty of information and recommendations for the area and was available 24/7.

OMG! First of all, what to say about Ellen's kindness. She gave us a warm welcome and gave us a tour of the place. She took the time to suggest activities and restaurants nearby. She even texted us several useful information. She also had cold snacks and beverages. We quickly felt comfortable. The listing is as pictured. It's extremely well-decorated and peaceful. The place is beautiful and is perfect for relaxing with the sounds of nature all around. We also very much appreciated that there are beach accessories at our disposal. It was a great deal. In short, we loved our short stay and will definitely stay again if we return to the area. We highly recommend this place for a quiet vacation!

A quiet area. It reminds me of the countryside. It has everything you need for a few days and an attentive landlord. The only thing that the shower inside does not come out with pressure and the kitchen spatulas fold when using them, but otherwise everything is great

Beautiful and peaceful place. We could really rest- for people looking for privacy and contact with nature this is the ideal spot. Location is amazing, right next to mountain trails. Can’t wait to come back ✨

The place is a beautiful gem. Fortunately, we had booked very early, otherwise it would have been gone. We can only recommend it to everyone. Lupe also provided us with many tips from the area and always made us feel welcome.

The place is a great little surfers cabin, short drive the beach, feels like a small intimate resort

We had a very nice stay at the tiny villa :) It was all very clean and well maintained, the communication was very pleasant and easy, when we had questions we didn't have to wait long for an answer. In addition, very often cats came by who were very loving and would certainly be happy to feed them from time to time:)

Staying at Susana’s paradise was amazing. We were with two couples and the cabins give you all the privacy you need, although the garden is a great place to hangout together. It is decorated with such love and care, and everything you need is there. Do bring warm clothes because it gets cold outside, as well as a sturdy car and good driver, but then you are all set and will have a wonderful stay!!

Nice stay in a very quiet location. Hetty and Patrick are very kind and helpful. The highlight is the sauna and the associated view.

Nacho was a perfect host, super friendly and attentive, with lots of tips for the area and very quick to help if I needed something. His Casita was super cozy, with a very comfortable bed up on the platform (best sleep I've had in a while!) and a nice private garden with a terrace and hammock. The outdoor shower was another highlight and for cold nights Nacho provided me with a portable gas heater for some more warmth. There is a small supermarket very close by, and there are bikes to use for free. However, I would recommend to have a car to more easily visit places in the surroundings like the pretty old town of Vejer and the beautiful bay in Los Caños. I would definitely recommend Nacho's place to my friends!
