Family-friendly vacation rentals in Madrid

I want to review our holiday stay at Diego's apartment in Madrid. The apartment is fantastic and spacious. The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment, making it quiet and pleasant to sleep. The beds are comfortable, the showers are nice, and the central heating works well. The location is excellent, within walking distance of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood and museums. Diego is kind, responds immediately to any question, and provides precise guidance on how to get there. Thank you, Diego."

So this was great. The location was perfect for us. The area was less touristy. Realize there are tourist everywhere in Madrid. But way more locals than tourist. What we try to find. We love walking and 15K steps a day don’t bother us. But there are close metro stops if walking is an issue. Mind you, it an old building. But we love that. The apartment is totally updated and modern. Great showers and hot water. Because the building is old it’s very quiet. There is a pretty popular restaurant right underneath it. Never heard a thing. I would stay here again if coming back to Madrid. Recommend highly.

Ideal airbnb stay, host, experience

Gezellig appartement alles aanwezig. Makkelijk vindbaar. Reizen met metro eenvoudig. Supermarkt om de hoek. Eettentje in de buurt. Wij hebben veel vertoefd in andere wijken. Fijne plek om te slapen en bij te komen v mooi Madrid. Leuke stad en cultuur.

Un buen departamento, fácil de llegar y bien ubicado.. Poco alto el precio para el tamaño y características. La cocina no es práctica (estando en Madrid supongo que no se usa). El cuarto principal no tiene privacidad así que deber viajar con personas de mucha confianza. No tiene elevador, si tienes problemas para subir / bajar escaleras puede ser incomodo Para gente joven o familia con hijos pequeños lo recomiendo

This three bedroom apartment is In an excellent location and a very good place to stay for families. For our family of 5, that meant mom and dad in the main bedroom, two kids in the bunk beds in the second bedroom, and grandma in the third bedroom with a single bed. The kitchen dining area and living room are also adequate, with a washer for clothes and a large drying rack which we were able to open in the entry foyer to dry. The bathrooms and finishes are luxurious and high-end which is a nice touch. The apartment is walkable to several metro stops; we used Tirsa Molina and Sol the most. Also easy access to plaza mayor, a grocery store, pharmacy, and the tapas scene. The only reason not to stay here would be if going up and down a couple flights of antique, non-uniform steps will be a problem for anyone in your party. Per our stay and other reviews, I would not expect for the elevator to be in service. I also would not want to sleep more than 5 in the apartment.

This place is both convenient and comfortable. Beds, pillows and towels are wonderful. There is a bit of street and neighbor noise that is easily drowned out with white noise when we went to sleep. We would stay again! Lovely!

We had an amazing 3 days stay in Madrid, and the apartment made us feel like at home away from home. The location is great, walkable to all of the main attractions with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Anita was very helpful with our baggages letting us drop them at the apartment before the check in time. Communication was outstanding and she has also given lots of recommendations on various topics, from transportation to eating out.

Maica's place perfectly met our family's needs. There was ample space for all 6 of us, with a well-equipped kitchen that was very convenient for meal preparation. Everyone loved this place, especially the children, as there are several playgrounds nearby and the overall atmosphere is wonderful. The location is excellent - there's a supermarket close by and the metro station is just a 600-meter walk away. Additionally, being on the 1st floor was a huge plus as we didn't have to spend time carrying our luggage up stairs. Overall, this is an outstanding accommodation and we would love to return. Great location. A reasonable walk to all the main tourist destinations yet the area especially Malpenas still felt very Spanish. Lots of interesting bars etc.The road itself is a pedestrianised smart shopping street but a minutes away are lots of interesting vibrant cafes etc. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.

tl;dr: we had wonderful stay at Judith/Tamara's place, everything was just perfect. Longer version: the apartments are in a quiet and nice neighborhood, exactly as described and shown in the photos. They are clean and fully equipped with everything required for a family of four. Tamara met us upon arrival, provided step-by-step guidance, and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for more.

El lugar está súper ubicado tiene metro y tren a unos pasos. El departamento está muy bien administrado. Tres habitaciones con su calefactor cada una. Dos baños completos lo hace muy cómodo. La cocina es pequeña pero funcional. Tener lavadora ayuda mucho si vas en modo viajero que necesita reutilizar. Tuvo el detalle en dejarnos cápsulas de café y galletitas. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y volvería.

Great stay at Antonio’s property! Check in was great - he even showed us where local grocery stores, restaurants, and the nearest bus and metro stops could be found. He also let us check in early as we were on a morning flight and let us leave our luggage in the apartment after check out as we were departing in the evening. The three bedroom apartment had everything we needed, including a washer, iron, electric kettle, smart tv and dishwasher. It even included an outdoor clothesline to dry our clothes. The location was terrific for visiting Madrid - only a short 10 minute walk from the Cuatro Caminos or Alvarado Metro stations. The nearest grocery stores were also only a 5 minute walk away. He arranged for a paid reserved parking spot for us at the garage next door for the first three days, which was very convenient. The beds were also comfortable. We’d definitely stay again!

El lugar está bastante bien, definitivamente mejor de lo que muestran las fotos, super cómodo, cerca de la estación de San Blas y de un supermercado para hacer compras. Iván fue muy flexible con el check-in y muy amable, definitivamente me volvería a quedar en este lugar, la pasamos genial, gracias!

L’emplacement est idéal, proche de tout : métro, bus, taxi, en plein centre-ville. Pas besoin de transport pour rejoindre Gran Vía, la Plaza Mayor ou le musée du Prado, tout se fait à pied ! Le logement est très propre, bien rangé, et parfaitement équipé — on trouve tout ce qu’il faut dans la cuisine. Carmen a été très réactive et disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Je reviendrai sans hésiter. Merci encore !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Carmen. L appartement est très bien situé et permet de rejoindre rapidement le centre ville grâce au 2 stations de métro et la ligne de bus depuis l aéroport. Carmen est très agréable et à l 'écoute de nos besoins. Si nous revenons sur Madrid, nous n 'hesiterons pas à réserver de nouveau chez Carmen.

Hebben een super verblijf gehad in het appartement

Had a great stay at Vittorio's flat. The checkin went nicely. the location is great (lots of thrift shops if you like that). Plenty of local restaurants. We had a small clog in the shower, I contacted Vittorio and they responded quickly and had it fixed within a few hours! Would highly recommend.

Appartement tres bien situé dans la zone vivante de Madrid, ce que nous a permis de visiter tous les points d’intérêt sans jamais prendre metro, bus ou taxi. Appartement tres bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire. Paloma a été tres gentille et tres reactive a toutes nos demandes.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt an einem netten Platz mit vielen Restaurants, Cafes, und Tapasbars. Kino, Theater, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt um die Ecke. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut erreichbar. Der Zugang war mit den entsprechenden Infos problemlos und zu jeder Zeit möglich. Das Appartement ist meiner Meinung nach kleiner als auf den Bildern gedacht, aber es war alles vorhanden. Mit 12 Personen würde ich es nicht empfehlen, da sonst 2 auf dem Sofa übernachten müssen. Mit 10 Personen war auch die Situation mit 2 kleinen Bädern schon herausfordernd. Ein Schlafzimmer ist ein Durchgangszimmer, das auch noch als Abstellraum genutzt wird- eher weniger gemütlich. Außer in einem Zimmer handelt es sich um Doppelbetten. Also eher für Paare oder sehr gute Freunde gedacht. Bäder und Küche waren sauber, Bettwäsche und Handtücher frisch und ordentlich.

My son and I stayed for 6 nights. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is in an excellent location. La Latina is very lively and there are a wide range of restaurants and bars and a number of places close by to buy groceries. "Central" Madrid is very close and accessible and the Metro is 5 mins walk. The apartment is in very good condition and a great set up for two people. The main living area is spacious and the main bedroom is large with a lot of light. The bathroom is a little tight but ultimately it is manageable. Laura was very communicative and responsive to questions. I would highly recommend staying here
