Great place, very tidy. Right downtown, big yard, will still again.

Great place to stay right next to Hawks Nest lovers leap overlook and a mile from Hawks Nest Trail (our favorite in the area). House was as described and easy to locate and check in. 5/5 worth the stay if you’re looking to do some hiking and fun.

The Purple Light house did not disappoint. The pictures are accurate but really don’t due it justice. It was clean, easy to find. We so enjoyed the roominess of the living space. All 9 of us were able to talk and enjoy each other’s company. The bathrooms leave nothing out. The whole house is vary comfortable and more than adequate for 10 guests. Thank you again for your hospitality

This place is close to a LOT of local restaurants and New River Hiking Trails. The neighborhood was quiet and the inside of the house was very clean. It’s perfect for a group of 5 or a group of 3 couples. The host was responsive and friendly, and I’d definitely book from them again.

This was a great place to stay and an ideal location for all things new river gorge! local restaurants and coffee shops within minutes were also delicious.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The host was super accommodating, letting us know we could arrive at an earlier time, as well as letting us know of a later checkout time given the schedule of the cleaning crew. All this was much appreciated. We will definitely return!

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

The house was just as the pictures show. Clean, spacious, homey, very comfortable and the host was extremely responsive when we had questions. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The only complaint is the mattress on the bed in the master bedroom was too soft. Would consider staying here again in the future.

The coziest cabin! We stopped here on a drive between Pennsylvania and North Carolina, hoping to get in a bit of outdoor activity in New River Gorge - and Holly's place was the perfect stop. While the GPS originally took us behind the building, reading Holly's instructions made it quite easy to find the house. The interior was small, but perfect for two guests, and the bathroom was incredibly well stocked, which was a delightful surprise. We would have enjoyed a fire, although the fireplaces were not functional at the time, but the cabin was plenty warm enough even as the temperatures outside were freezing and snow was falling. Bed was comfortable, we had no issues, and the location was perfect to get to the NP or to enjoy Fayetteville. We hope to come back during warmer weather to explore a bit more.
