Vacation rentals in Mackenzie River

Amazing wilderness adventure and an adult and kids paradise!!

We stayed at Mike and Sabine's dry cabin (one of 3) on their private property. They live in the main cabin to the right, and their son (?) lives in the one to the left. They were gracious enough to let us try ice fishing with them on our second day. We had the perfect amount of water in the jugs supplied to get through our stay, and plenty of firewood to stay warm through the night. The outhouse was nicely appointed. We enjoyed an outdoor fire at the designated pit on our first night. They were very kind and every detail was managed. There is a gas pump 30km down the road in Faro. Great value, would stay again!

Absolutely amazing stay in this beautiful cabin. Great examples of craftsmanship every where you look, from the cabins, to the woodshed, to even the bedframe and tables. We stayed in temps below -30 and were perfectly warm and cozy. It was an amazing and relaxing getaway that allowed us to disconnect for a few nights and recharge. Would recommend in a heart beat if you're in the area!

Everything is clean and in order. Quiet place (no noise whatsoever). Nice parking with electricity. Beds are comfortable. There is only one tiny thing that could be improved: would be nice to have a power outlet near the kitchen table so that we could plug in out laptop. Other than that, I would recommend that place without hesitation.

This was our second stay with William. The place is fantastic. Short walk to the best restaurant in Fort Simpson. Short walk to the only grocery store in Fort Simpson. The end of the street has an amazing view of the local rivers

We stayed here for a weekend and had an amazing time! it was the perfect spot for a weekend get away and Yvonne was a wonderful host! We will definitely be back!
