Pleasant Country House - Beautiful Landscapes!!!

gabriellaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
Great stay in Irwin's country house. The house is spacious with all the modern equipment. Nested at the foot of Veronica Mountain (6000m), the beautiful garden allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. Off the grid but close to the tourist attractions of the Sacred Valley. We went easily to the Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo, to Machu Picchu (you can go by train or by foot), the Salineras of Maras... Thank you Irwin for your hospitality, always available and caring !

My stay here was unforgettable. The hosts are so warm and friendly, I feel like I made new friends. The tiny cabins and the property have THE BEST vibe. I was so well taken care of. I could not recommend this place enough!

Inca's House Museum Ollantaytambo and Full History

Yesenia QuinteroRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was a great stay here because the room was spacious, clean, dark, comfortable beds, soft pillows, the location was good. I arrived during the raining season so it was cold weather, but there are heaters to warm the room, also there were thick blankets to help you get warm. The place also has warm water in the shower. Jhan Marco is a good host: always attentive, helpful, welcoming and kind. His place is about 600 years old and the condition of it, is just amazing.

Department Ollantaytambo NunaSumaq

PabloRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The apartment is very nice and Pammela is very attentive. The only thing is that the water pump is quite noisy and you can hear the neighbors' roosters a lot, but that doesn't depend on her. The kitchen is a 10 and the bed is very comfortable. We would come back!

El Arriero Apartamento Privado 02

AnanyaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Juan is a fantastic host. He gave us a lot of local information and recommendations. His son took us around on a day trip to Moray, Maras and Chinchero for an extra charge which was great and reasonable. He is an experienced and safe driver. The accommodation is basic yet comfortable and ideal for a short stay. It is very well located - loads of restaurants at stones throw away, 10mins walk to the train station and a 5mins wall to the archeological sites. Very much recommended.

Ollantaytambo - beautifull country house

The house is located in Chilca, surrounded by nature and perfect for disconnecting. We really enjoyed exploring the nearby river and hiking the area, which is really peaceful and picturesque. If you are looking for tranquility and beauty, this is the place. Also, Percy, the host, was very attentive and was always available for any questions, making sure our stay was perfect. ¡Thank you Percy! I hope to return soon.

A true gem! We finally slept well, this space is beautiful and in a very calm and quiet area. Walk into town is super easy and fast. Macarena is super friendly and pays a lot of attention to details. We felt this space has sustainability awareness and a creative touch. Definitely recommend to stay here! (Warm shower + kitchen + garden + warm and cozy beds + wifi, all was perfect)

Eucalyptus Home ( by Doña Catta)

HeatherRating, 5 stars6 days ago
As the reviews demonstrate, this is an especially lovely suite. A lot of thought and aesthetic has gone into decorating and supplying all of the things a guest might need. Especially appreciated the heater and the many kitchen supplies. Bed was very comfortable with lots of comfortable pillows and warm covers. We also enjoyed the neighbourhood and location, on a narrow road that is inaccessible to cars. Catta was responsive to all inquiries. We stayed an extra day and would have extended our visit a third day if it had been available.

Great place. We stayed overnight to catch an early train to Machu Picchu, the hosts packed us breakfast and were very sweet. The walk to train station is 10 min, but they also offer a ride. They serve tasty breakfasts too. Loved the views from the room and patio.

JOYA B&B

IsraelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
nOS WENT VERY WELL IN the STAY IN GENERAL. FOR THE AMOUNT WE PAY WE RECEIVE A DECENT, CLEAN STAY, ACCORDING TO WHAT IS OFFERED, IN A GOOD LOCATION, BREAKFAST IS GOOD (MUCH MORE THAN I EXPECTED FOR THE GENERAL PRICE I PAID), ATTENTION WAS CORDIAL. I SEE COMMENTS FROM PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT BREAKFAST AND I SAY: IF YOU WANT A SUPER PRO BREAKFAST BECAUSE YOU PAY MORE ELSEWHERE. VY COMMENTS FROM PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT NOISE AND I SAY: IT'S NORMAL BECAUSE THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO GET UP EARLY AND BE PUNCTUAL WELL FOR THE TRAIN, FOR THEIR DEPARTURE TO MACHUPICHU ETC. NO ELEVATOR, (I HAD NO PROBLEM CLIMBING STAIRS, PLUS THERE ARE NOT MANY) NO AIR CONDITIONING OR FAN (I DON 'T NEED IT). THERE IS A TV, GOOD BLANKETS, CHARGING POINTS. IN GENREAL I RECOMMEND IT FOR PEOPLE WHO GO TO MACHUPICHU . LOCATION IS GOOD AS EVERYTHING IS USUALLY CLOSE. SUPER IMPORTANT LAST THING!!! THE "NO" TRAIN NOISE DOESN 'T AFFECT AT ANYTHING THE REST IN THIS HOTEL. THANK YOU!

Beautiful Private Room with Panoramic View

JohannaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, shower not quite hot (unfortunately you can't take a bathroom). But the problem with the hot water is almost everywhere here! Still 5 stars for the place because it's so nice and quiet here! Here you can relax super well and sleep in peace! Away from the hustle and bustle, but still within walking distance of the cafes and restaurants at the Plaza de Armas. (5 min. Walking). We got sick when we were here, and was allowed to stay as long as we wanted. We were brought hot tea water daily. Thank you very much

Bedroom just off the mountain

MaxRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Marta and Carlos were the kindest, most generous and caring individuals we met on our trip. They are truly passionate about the town and area around them, providing an additional service to take you on hikes to ancient Inca ruins and beyond. The room is absolutely stunning, the location is jaw dropping and we left Ollantaytambo excited to return in the future. Thank you Marta and Carlos!

Private house in Ollantaytambo

Juan CarlosRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place is very cozy, warm, clean, quiet and had everything you need to be comfortable. The view is beautiful, you can see the fortress and the valley, along the side a water channel passes and the noise is super relaxing for a nap. Nancy was always quick to respond to my inquiries and was very friendly.

El Arriero Private Apartment 03

FelipeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The place was massive! there was a lot of room, super comfortable bed and very quiet, the location was a bit a of a walk from the main plaza but Ollantaytambo is very small, so it was basically a 5 minute walk. Juan was very friendly and attentive, even told us a few stories about the mountains around and what is there to do, really nice and helpful! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Triple Room - with view

SharonRating, 5 stars61 months ago
This Airbnb is located so very close to the plaza and all the ruins. Ollantaytambo is not too big of a town therefore you can walk everywhere or even take a tuk tuk to the train station. They are so friendly and extremely accommodating with very quick responses. We love the breakfast provided with delicious fruits and eggs made to order. We love everything about the service and the people that works at the Airbnb. Thank you
