This is the perfect place from which to enjoy the beach! Cottage 3 is steps away from the sand, and you can hear the waves at night. It is near a number of good restaurants and beach bars, too. Great vibe all around. Abdel made check in super easy, too!

We were with a big group and stayed in both of John's places. They were both overall greatly located, matched the description, and enjoyable. The interiors could be cleaner, ACs better serviced, and sheets replaced.

If you’re looking for a spot directly in town with basic amenities and a king bed, Emiliano is a wonderful and communicative host. This is a townhome style with another small suite attached to the second level, but with separate and private entrances. We had no issues with our neighbor and actually enjoyed getting to know another traveler. The location, size, and flow of the space are great. We enjoyed the two decks and the first floor hammock. The upstairs bedroom is very spacious and enjoyable. It is not modern or updated, so if you’re looking for fancy this might disappoint. Lastly, when we faced a couple of issues with the water, Emiliano was quick to respond and had locals able to come onsite and help.

Very nice place, very peaceful and with a great ocean view. There was privacy and each room had air conditioning which was wonderful. Every time I was communicating with the manager I had a quick response and was very helpful. The location is super close to Montañita and other nearby places, taxis are safe and from the house to mountainee they charged us between 2 to 5 dollars maximum, depending if they were going to pick you up to the house. And it should be noted that we were left complimentary with a beer upon receiving us. A nice experience, I would definitely come back.

This is undoubtedly the best accommodation in Machalilla, located on the seafront on a practically private beach and a really beautiful cabin. The communication and friendliness of the hosts to answer every question and help you with the tours is perfect. Thank you so much for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Gracie's place. What more do you need? Beachfront living with the wave right out front and bars and restaurants just a few steps away. We loved it and will be back FOR SURE! Gracie was also very communicative and made the whole process very easy!
