Vacation rentals with beach access in Lyttelton

This location in Akaroa is perfect. The view from the deck could be a painting you would hang in your living room. The layout of the apartment and decorations are very nice, obviously an owner with good taste. The town has plenty of good restaurants and the setting is soft and romantic. This was our second time to rent this 2 bedroom unit and we would never stay anywhere else.

We had a wonderful time at Denise and Regs place and they made us very welcome. Wonderful spot, beautiful garden and great trail path which was such fun to explore. Accommodation was perfect and all we wanted and would have love to stay longer. Loved the local area so picturesque and beautiful

Perfect spot for those wanting to be near the sea and great coffee shops and restaurants. Lana was a perfect host - we really appreciated the home comforts on arrival. The apartment was bigger than expected and was lovely and warm during a cold snap. Thanks for a great stay.

The perfect accommodation for a couple + 2 kids. Very close to everything while away from main street noise. Immaculately clean and tidy with comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely rebook.

What a wonderful place to stay- and wonderful hosts too! Comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Great location as well - next to green spaces and near the ocean. Very easy to get into the city too. Can easily recommend to others.

My husband and I had a great time at Viv and Rob's place. The view cannot be beat! The place was just what we needed after many days of driving across the south island. Just a note for many cautious North American drivers that the parking is tight and you will be driving uphill to get here. But once you get here, you'll know why this place is a gem!

Danielle was a responsive and friendly host. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful surrounds of Sumner and delicious bakery and bar close by!

What a fantastic spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this character home and Charmaine has laid the Air Bnb out with everything you need. Lyttleton is a fantastic place to stay, and we loved the view out the window Will be heading back again soon

Friendly neighbour to help, accomodation was good, we thought the bunks room would be bigger, so a bit tight for 5 adults Location great. Very quiet.

We would recommend this place. We stayed here for one night as a group of four (if you're coming with four people, two of you will be sleeping on a sofa bed). The host reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the sofa bed prepared, which we confirmed. However, upon arrival, we had to set it up ourselves. We found the necessary bedding and blankets in the bedroom closet, but we weren’t entirely sure if they had been freshly changed, as they seemed slightly used. Despite that, our overall experience was positive and without major issues. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and pier, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the stay!

Annette’s home is a perfect place to stay in Akaroa. Great location with beautiful views. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. Beautiful and clean. Stunning scenery from most all of the rooms!! Comfortable area to explore Christchurch in a more natural setting with surfer-watching every morning and afternoon! Thank you for our stay in your lovely home! Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at The Little Blue Cottage. It’s in a gorgeous garden setting with abundant birdlife. Inside is spacious, oozing stylish comfort. Great bathroom, comfortable bed with lovely linen sheets, and a well-designed kitchen with quality equipment. It had turned a bit chilly when we arrived in Akaroa, so the wood burner was much appreciated! Would love to stay again in this inviting and peaceful cottage.
