Perfect! Maria is a really wonderful host - she was friendly, kind, interesting to chat to and super helpful, coming to meet us from the ferry and making sure we were settled in. She immediately made us feel comfortable - couldn't ask for more. The apartment itself is great. It is a very nicely decorated space with character. It's lovely - bright, airy, comfortable, and it has everything you could possibly need. We felt right at home. Everything is clean - comfy bed, nice bedding, towels etc all nice. And the terrace.....oohhhhh so great. It's a huge space with lots of comfortable places to lounge either in the shade or in the sun. We loved relaxing there both day and night. Overall, I don't think you will find a nicer host or a better place to stay in Luxor. Thank you!

Absolutely wonderful stay!Great location, just near the public ferry, two minutes walk, there are many small shops nearby, shopping is very convenient.The house is very new, exactly as pictured, has two private rooms, can stay for four people, great value for money!And the hostحسن is super friendly and is basically responsive.Stay here next time in Luxor too, super recommended!

Excellent stay, comfortable and spacious room, as shown in the photos. Captain Ash is a very kind person, he advised us and helped us book the balloon flight experience and he also has contacts for transportation in Luxor, we crossed to the other side in a boat that he recommended to us. I definitely recommend this place!

As a family of 12, this was an excellent choice of 6 individual fully equipped apartments in 1 private building. It is right along the Nile & has a nice rooftop lounging/dining area where we ate our home-cooked meals (Abdul could be a formal chef!) & spent our evenings enjoying the view of the boats passing on the Nile. Islam, Abdul, Hasan, & 1 other gentleman (forgot his name) made our stay EXCEPTIONALLY functional & comfortable. They went above & beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted or needed, including booking transportation, tours, meals, boat rides, shopping, etc. They made us feel as if we were a part of their family. Our entire family was well pleased with our stay!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Malkata Arts Retreat’s location was perfect for my stay. Tjoni described walking distances to local vegetable stand and family owned markets and restaurants as well as longer walks to village further away accurately. Tjoni’s hospitality was inviting and her respect for personal space sacred. Physical features of her home are stunningly subtle as well as grand. Green trees and plants provided privacy as well as surrounding the home in garden lushness amid stark reality of Saharan Desert. Malkata Arts Retreat was a beautiful place to call home during my stay on Luxor’s West Bank.

While in Luxor you can expect A very warm and hospitable environment Qenut and Azab are very down to earth and accommodating to one's needs! A very comfortable place while in Luxor! They also do tours of the Nile, Pyramids, group Nile cruise excursions (10 or more) and desert excursions. Very modern living conditions on the West Bank in Luxor.

The stay was very good and the place is quiet and pleasant. The apartment is very large and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Over 3 balconies you could see the Nile. The apartment was just great with everything it had to offer. Ezzat and his uncle were very friendly and answered all of our questions. Glad to come back!

I had the most beautiful stay! The apartment is lovely—comfortable, clean, and with two balconies offering a stunning and peaceful view of the Nile. It’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee or unwinding after a long day. The location is ideal for exploring Luxor, with easy access to all the major sites and attractions. Also, the host, Ahmed Ali, was exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, providing helpful recommendations and making me feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Don’t hesitate and book!

I can't sing the praises of Mohamed and his team enough. Our stay in Luxor was perfect. From arranging an airport pickup to the perfect tours and the outstanding food, everything was well worth the price. The flat was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Balcony looking over the Nile onto Luxor Temple was peaceful and magical at sunset. Everyone on staff is just so kind and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting the sights of the West Bank and a quick ferry ride over to the East Bank. We arranged both Cairo and Luxor tours with Mohamed, and honestly, these were a real joy. Sherif in Cairo and Saber in Luxor were amazing! Saber is a Luxor native and an expert on all the amazing history here. Take a sunset feluca ride. Also...the food! The reviews are sincere. It was delicious. We had a fabulous time and would love to visit again.

Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.

Great place with stunning view. Highly recommend if you need to stay in Luxor. Mohamed and team are on hand if you need anything and help make everything simple while you stay with them.
