Family-friendly vacation rentals in Luxor City

This is an absolutely superb Airbnb. Riverbank House is on the bank of the Nile with a clear view across to the Winter Palace. The house itself is comfortable, spacious and well-designed, with access to a well-kept private swimming-pool. The food - breakfast and dinner if you want it (we did) - is so good that we had no inclination to take our chances with restaurants, preferring to stay in. Our host Khyry was available to help us with trips to some of the astonishing sights around Luxor, Karnak and the Valley of the Kings and is a knowledgeable and funny guide, if you require it. In the house, Sayeed looked after us superbly and the chef Mahmoud produced a wonderful variety of food. There was a real sense of friendliness and welcome to Riverbank House and we can't wait to return.

RECOMMEND IT! Very tidy and lovely AirBnb apartment equipped with everything you need. The location is very good in a peaceful and safe neighbourhood. I loved returning to the apartment after a long day to a clean and refreshing pool! Mohamed is a great host and there when you need him, Very nice and wants to share all he knows about the area. I had a great stay and if I ever visit Luxor in the future I will stay here again!

My friend recommended this villa because he said it was amazing and he was right! The owner helped organise all our tours and made the trip extremely easy. The chef cooked our dinner and breakfast and the tour guide took us anywhere we wanted, it was perfect not needing to worry about anything! Great place!!

Typical place with comfortable rooms and an excellent location in front of the Nile River. He met all expectations and the host was very friendly. I would definitely come back on next visits to the city!

We had a wonderful stay at Mohameds place. Great location, Mohamed was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Luxor.

Hagag’s place is fabulous. The accommodation, the location, the views are all some of the best I’ve experienced. Ideally positioned for the West Bank sites and a 5 minute walk from the ferry, with shops, restaurants and tourist services on your doorstep. Hagag is a superb host offering advice and support if you need it. It’s hard to think of a better place I’ve stayed during my travels.

What an amazing place! The villa is just beautiful - impeccably decorated and squeaky clean. The views from the top terrace of the sunrise and sunset were amazing and the pool was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights with our 3 boys aged 18, 16 and 11 - our 11 year old is autistic and so there was some worry about how he would would cope, however all the people were absolutely amazing and made our stay so easy. We had an itinerary arranged for trips out and were collected each day from the front door and driven to wherever we were going. On occasion we needed to change the plan but it was absolutely no issue and we were accommodated with ease. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

I could not find a single fault with this villa. It has everything my family needed. I was so impressed by the quality of service. The Host went all out to make our stay comfortable. They offered Egyptian breakfast, cooked fresh in the villa at so reasonable price. The dinner was fantastic too, all for a small price. I have already make plans to come and stay longer in the future.

Huge friendly family who received us. They brought and prepared breakfast for us every morning. Very helpful and not at all pushy. The location is fantastic in the middle of the "quiet" side of Luxor, if you like adventure. Not for luxury kittens!

I think this place is the best place in west bank in luxor. taking boat was very easy for going to eastside. Apartment was very quiet and clean and so big. staying in west bank is better if you stay in luxor more than 3 days. and Osama's apartment would be the best place for your trip.

Linda’s place is a quiet haven a little way away from the hustle of town. The pool is lovely and her apartment is cool, spacious and has all the amenities you could need if you wish to self cater. We used the few days to relax and recharge our batteries after a long stretch of hectic travel. Linda and Eid are fabulously friendly and helpful, from ordering food for delivery to helping us get (long overdue) haircuts. We would gladly stay with Linda again if we come back to Luxor.

Linda and Eid are amazing . I needed and wanted for nothing . it was all there and more . londss place is family orientated but not intrusive and they strike a happy medium . lots of welcome bits and bobs in the fridge , lashings of hit water , great powerful shower , washing powder, loads of cleaning stuff if you want it but weekly cleaning is available and the public area downstairs is meticulously cleaned every day . I had a lovely stay and travelling on my own I felt safe and cared about . Not enough thankyous to compliment.

Osama was very polite and kind. very responsive and his place is perfectly situated. you can't have any complaints for the money. The sunset from the roof is amazing too, with a great view of the Nile on one side and the mountains on the other.

Me and my family love this place. we came from an ARBNB in Cairo, and there was a big difference. This place is such a magic place that is very peaceful, very quiet, and so beautiful we definitely come back one day in the future to stay with Mahmoud. I'llreally want to thank him because he helps with a lot of things that I need help with. I feel like I was in my country with my family, very friendly staff. if I could give this place and they personals more than 5 stars, I would. Thanks again, Mr. Mahmoud and staff.
