Family-friendly vacation rentals in Luxor City

This is my third stay here, and I don't stay anywhere more than once if I do not like it!! Quaint little features abound.. I was staying in the new apartment only completed earlier this year so this was new to me too! Lovely bathroom excellent shower! Comfortable bed.. The whole family are very welcoming, mother does wonderful things with lentils if you are lucky enough to be offered some, and her traditional Egyptian bread is to die for! One comment... Please Mahmoud can we have some slightly bigger towels in the bathroom??

First of all, a big thank you to Abdou and Clare for the warm welcome we received. In Airbnb there are superhosts and well they are super-super host! Because they go far beyond that, Abdou organizes what you need and as you wish, Clare is very responsive. The accommodation is very very large and clean. Our big kids were delighted to have their space and Wifi. Pool and rooftop that make the place great. The location is excellent, away from the city hustle and bustle. A haven of peace that makes this home "at home". The restaurants around are great. In January it is very cool in the evening but Clare had warned us and the blankets are enough. In short, we highly recommend it and if we had to come back it would be here.

We felt like home it was not a normal appartement you've a lot of nice books and Netflix which was really nice and the apartment is also very big and there's 3 terraces and abundence of beautiful pictures on the wall and Luxor map and the free breakfast was so nice and also there's was a lot of bottled water in the fridge and I can't explain how kind Linda and Eid are they're wonderful I wish them happiness forever they helped us when we had a problem and they helped us to visit places and organize things I definitely enjoyed it

Amira and her place was among the most unique and beautiful places our family has ever stayed. She was helpful, kind, flexible to our needs, interesting and made us feel comfortable and gave us some one of a kind opportunities and experiences unlike anything we could have done staying somewhere else. We couldn’t recommend her more!

This is a homestay that is very relaxing and comfortable to experience and recommend.The house is located on the west bank of the Nile River, from the balcony on the second floor and the terrace on the third floor, you can also see the sunrise on the third floor terrace, see the hot balloon, and see the stars.This homestay was built entirely for hosting tourists and is now more than 20 years old.The house has a lot of design and has both local architectural characteristics, such as the large dome in the room, and has a modern decoration style.There is a living, dining, kitchen, and communal bathroom on the ground floor, and a small yard with a pool, which is very clean and comfortable.As soon as we went up to the floor of the house, we all admired it and loved it.The second floor is five bedrooms and two public toilets.Two of the bedrooms are facing the Nile, each with a balcony with a good view and one with a private bathroom.The remaining three rooms are relatively small, and they are two small single beds, and the windows are not large, and the light is normal.Beds and bedding are clean and comfortable.But the comforter on the bed doesn't have a duvet cover, it's the kind of bedding used in traditional hotels, it's actually not very convenient to cover it.The third floor is the large terrace which is part of the most attractive part of the house.The homestay can provide all three meals at your own expense.After eating our first lunch here, it was very wrong, so we ate at the homestay for two days in Luxor, which also saved the trouble of going to the city to find a restaurant and not order food.There is a special local uncle in the homestay who came to make us a proper meal, every meal is not the same, and has a local flavor.Breakfast was relatively simple, only bread, fry eggs and milk.However, if you want to eat more, you can add money to your boss to add more food.We don't care, that's what we eat.It is worth mentioning that we met Mr. Omar, the owner of the homestay, who gave us details about the situation of the homestay, said that this is a tourist company jointly funded with a Frenchman. In addition to this homestay, there was a new larger homestay not far away to prepare to open, and they were able to plan local special tourism activities, we booked the hot air balloon first flight project on the next morning (in this case, the driver picked us up at 5:30 the next day, we didn't need to go to contact the balloon company again, and we saved a lot of trouble).Omar was very nice and enjoyed interacting with his guests and always willing to offer all kinds of help to our guests, we chatted with him and felt more at home.But he said he didn't often stay in a homestay, which happened to be met this time.There are also housekeepers in the B&B, and staff in charge of hygiene, etc., although language communication is not very convenient, but it does not affect the simple communication, and everyone is very simple and friendly.This homestay is built in a village where it is necessary to reach the whole village and the road is not good, but we didn't really mind.It takes almost half an hour from the homestay to the city of Luxor by car.There is a ferry dock nearby to get to the city, but we didn't try it.All in all, we really loved it here and even just stay here one afternoon to just rest.There are of course some fine details that need to be improved.

Ida was responsive and went above and beyond to make you feel like you are at home and are family. Beautiful views from the rooftop and the restaurants in walking distance are very reasonably priced and 10/10 quality. My aunt had a back injury which turned out to be Ida’s speciality and she went above and beyond to help reliever pain which helped her enjoy her time in Luxor and the remainder of our trip.

Great location and apartment. How wonderful was it to be there right on the Nile. Great apartment and comfortable apartment. Offered various tour options. Lovely staff and nice restaurants very close and right on the waters edge.

Sidsel is a great host, as is her partner Shaaban. Her team, Tiger the cat, and Ahmad the captain, are also great. Tiger sat on my lap, played with me, and I felt right at home. From the first minute to the last, everything was very pleasant, friendly and smooth. We are very happy to have found your place. Thanks a lot Sidsel.

I stayed on the top floor, which had a view of the Nile and a lovely balcony. The area was very quiet at night- off the more beaten path and the quieter side of the river. The unit was very spacious and plenty of hot water for showers. Plus, it is behind a secured gate. I enjoyed my stay.
