This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, and I’d book it again in a heartbeat. From the moment we booked, TJ provided exceptional hospitality, ensuring a seamless pilgrimage with detailed information and thoughtful recommendations. Every question was answered before we even asked! The apartment is immaculate, cozy, and perfectly located: such a peaceful retreat after a day at the Sanctuary. Spotless, well-equipped, and truly felt like home. But what truly sets The Pilgrim’s Rest apart is the heartwarming generosity of TJ and Julien. They genuinely care about their guests, going above and beyond to ensure a stress-free and memorable stay. To our surprise, they even welcomed us with thoughtful gifts, a gesture that made us feel incredibly valued and touched our hearts. Their kindness and dedication made our trip even more special!

Absolutely delicious stay with family, with young children. Denise and her daughter welcomed us warmly. This site is a small, flowery, tranquil and unspoiled gem, thanks to Denise's vigilance. The cottage is relatively close to all the remarkable Basque sites, and allows you to stay quietly with small ones who need space, calm, and a beautiful pool to splash. Thank you for our friendly exchanges, and I will see you soon. We will come back and recommend the place.

Great stay at this cute mountain studio

We had a great time! The place was easy to find, with perfect parking. Aurélie welcomed us very warmly upon arrival, with great kindness. The apartment was spotless, clean and very functional. We also really enjoyed the detailed instructions for the walks nearby, which allowed us to discover great places. We strongly recommend ⭐️⭐️🏔️

A beautiful handcrafted apartment with so many extras that you wouldn't expect. Peaceful and quiet if you don't count the songbirds and steam nearby! This is truly a wonderful Airbnb experience because of the kind and caring hosts who welcomed us for our stay.

Great week-long stay in July 20204! Small house with veranda + terrace and garden, very functional with ground floor and 2 floors. The air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms is a big advantage in summer in case of hot weather as was the case during our stay. The shower cubicles are not large but are well designed and very functional. Very good communication with Mado, always responsive and close. We had not been very clear about our bed linen needs and Mado was able to do what was necessary very quickly.

An idyllic stay surrounded by nature! We had a wonderful few days at this charming cottage. The setting is simply beautiful, with river views, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding calm. Everything is designed for the comfort of guests: a thoughtful host, bikes available to explore the surroundings, not to mention the hot tub which was a real moment of happiness after our walks. My daughters loved this place and we leave with great memories. Thank you so much for this enchanted break, we'll be happy to come back!"
