Vacation rentals in Lucas

The “cottage” was as described. It was a nice getaway for two as we needed someplace to stay to go to Bengal vs Dallas Monday night football game. Ken was super nice and friendly, met us when we arrived to let us know if we needed anything to let him know. Plenty of seating if you want to hang out outside or down by the water. Plenty of towels and pillows, bed was comfortable.

We were looking for a place of rest and retreat, and found it at Brandon's place, with a quiet street and beautiful sunset to boost, yet not far from stores and restaurants. We went for hikes in different area nature preserves and Ray Roberts Lake State Park, all withing a half hour drive, very convenient. The gas grill at the house was nice as we got some marinated meat at the Mexican grocery store for two nights when we felt like staying in the house and cooking for ourselves. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials for a short stay and all worked great for us. Thank you so much for a refreshing stay at your property, Brandon!

Our family enjoyed staying here at Christmas! Great Christmas lights all around in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Great location with lots nearby and close to Dallas. We especially appreciated the full size crib and high chair for our baby! The love sacs were a lot of fun with the little ones. Home was super clean and cozy. Fast communication from the hosts. Highly recommend to families!

I'm a psychotherapist and I hosted a very small retreat at this location for some clients. There was plenty of space. We had 8 registrants, but two had to cancel last minute, so 6 attendees. We would have easily been able to accommodate if the other 2 had been there. The space in the backyard was perfect for a group movement session. People spent a lot of time on the patio and in the backyard hanging out. The only thing worth mentioning is that we didn't know beforehand that there is not an actual bathroom upstairs, which could have been a problem if we had folks with mobility issues or who couldn't make it downstairs in the night to use the restroom. It worked out fine for us but not everyone would be ok with that. Otherwise we loved it here and would happily stay here again. Enjoy!

The lot is really big and private. I loved the outdoor deck & grill area. Unfortunately we had rain & clouds the first 2 days & didn’t get to enjoy the best parts of the home. Great place for spending time with friends or family!

Beautiful home, location was great. Our host was very nice and helpful.

Jillyn's house was perfect for our extended family to stay the weekend. The whole place was super comfortable, perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Having three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms downstairs was perfect for older family members. The host responded quickly throughout booking and arrival. I highly recommend Jillyn's place and would happily stay there again!
