House vacation rentals in Lower Shotover

Beautiful place! Looks as good as the photos. We particularly liked the activities (spa, pool, private yard space, tennis court) and facilities (big living room, BBQ, off-street parking, well-stocked kitchen). The pool and tennis court are shared with others from nearby accommodation, but the spa is just for the house. Plenty of hand wash, shampoo/conditioner and laundry liquid was provided. It is conveniently close to Queenstown, as well as the historic little town of Arrowtown. Overall, it was a gorgeous house and a very comfortable stay.

Clint and Anita’s place is a true gem! Breath taking views of the mountains and lake with a beautiful patio and hot tub set up. Clean, modern and comfortable. Just a short distance from the main town, highly recommend! They were responsive and great hosts.

Perfect spot on in Kelvin Heights with quick access to the Remarkables ski field.

A beautiful space in Frankton, just a short drive away from the city centre. A relaxing and peaceful retreat with beautiful amenities and a thoughtful host! Keisha was very responsive and friendly to help us out, communications with her were very pleasant. It was definitely a delightful stay!

Awesome place that literally has everything. Highlights were the sauna, hot spa, pool table and fireplace after snowboarding each day. Super close to The Remarkables and Coronet plus we drove an hour up to Corona and drive was easy. Highly recommended!

Good views of Lake Wakatipu. Historic bridge around the corner. Parking on the road, always available.

Don's house is located on an uphill area which commands a good view of the lake and the mountain. It has 3 bathrooms, one on each level. The beds are comfortable and the house feels cozy for 3 families which consist of 13 of us. The only compliant we had is on e 1st day, the water turned cold halfway through my mum's shower. But Don is very quick to response to our queries and the hot water tank takes time to heat up once the hot water has been depleted. We subsequently spread out our showering time and had no more issues. Thanks for hosting us Don!

Lovely place in a beautiful location! House was clean, and perfect for our trip. Scenery is stunning and the hosts were helpful, friendly and quick with communication. The location was a quick 10 minute drive into Queenstown which was easy for us as we had a car, and had no parking issues once we got into Queenstown. Would highly recommend this place!

Christina is a Great host and good location and stunning view of the lake. We have enjoyed our stay and especially sipping wine in the evening overlooking the lake! So awesome! Highly recommended to stay in.

This was a perfect place to stay during our week in the Queenstown area. It felt like a little wilderness retreat while only 15 minutes from downtown. Spacious and comfortable and clean. Great hikes and lake access nearby. Wonderful patio and hot tub, and beautiful views from every room. We enjoyed having Bella the cat spend lots of time with us. There's not phone service in this area so look at check-in instructions ahead of time.

Had a complicated check in procedure that was managed by the property manager and was expected to fill in prior to the trip however could not communicate with them as we didn’t have a phone line to call/text. Views and location were great. Spa was amazing. Set up for communication through airbnb could have been improved and managed by the PM. House was very large, spacious and amenities were good.

Fiona place was a great base from which to explore Queenstown & the surrounding area. Well presented and well equipped, the property was clean, and in a great quiet location. Fiona herself was readily available and easy to communicate with. She was also very accommodating

I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars. The photos do not do this place justice. You truly cannot capture the beauty and tranquility in a photo. I think it’s safe to say this was my favorite airbnb experience to date— the hosts are wonderful and the house truly has everything you need. Arrowtown down the street is so quaint and lovely, but we loved the house so much, we opted to spend a lot of our free time there. Will happily be back in the future! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Tim’s house was awesome. It has the best scenery at balcony, big house for 7 of us. Kids n us enjoyed the jacuzzi pool n beds are super comfy. Everything was well facilitated n equipped. We highly recommend Tim’s place!

We spent 5 nights are Mary and Rory’s beautiful home and we felt instantly at home. A wonderful 6 bedroom house that could accomodate 3 families. Mary and Rory were fantastic hosts and accommodated our needs so well. We had everything we needed and felt very relaxed. Fantastic communication and were so helpful in helping with our spa hire and an early/late checkout which was super helpful with kids and flight times. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend someone looking for a home to stay in a quiet area. So much thoughtfulness in the design and knowing the story behind the barn build is really special. Thank you for making our time with you so wonderful.
