Vacation rentals with lake access in Lower Normandy

Stayed at this 2-floor cottage for 5 nights. We were 3 adults and 1-3yo kid. The place is very cozy, spotless clean and especially adapted for kids, the pictures don’t do justice to this place. Sylvie has equipped the house with all sorts of toys and stuffed animals and also offers barriers for the beds if needed. In general, it has everything one can need for a longer stay and Sylvie is a welcoming and charming host. The place also has a private parking in inside the property. The only thing we didn’t love was not having a shower but only a bath tube, which the owners are willing to change. Also, as per the construction, it has low columns on the second floor that one has to be careful not to hit.

We absolutely loved our stay here as a family of 4. it felt like pure luxury and the house was even better then we had expected. this was by far the best house we have ever stayed in and I would highly recommend it.

We had a pleasant romantic stay, the house was very friendly and our dog was delighted with the fenced garden. Peaceful setting, perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. Manon was very responsive to our requests We recommend it! Thanks to Manon!

We were able to spend the holidays with the family at Donatienne's. Pros: - Bed linens and bath linens, soap, shampoo, cleaning included - Ability to park nearby for free - Functional fireplace (wood paying €8 /bag or to bring nonetheless) - Spacious kitchen - Laval 15mins away by car -On view of the Ernée River The -: - Pack a few sweaters and big socks as it can be a little cold - Narrow ground floor toilet In short, if you want to spend a few days in Mayenne, we can only recommend Donatienne's house!

This was a relaxing stay for 9 in a sumptuous location. Ideal for exploring Normandy and great to come back to after a long day. The beach is an easy access, as is the town. Everything in the house was well appointed and very clean. It was a delight to stay here. My only regret was that we had already arranged to do so many things during the day - it would have been nice just to chill out in the house and enjoy the view. Thank you for making the house available to us.

bedroom is on the first floor so no need to carry luggage up the stairs to the very comfortable living area which is smartly designed. we had everything we needed without any unnecessary clutter. did a combination of making simple meals at the airbnb and eating at neighborhood restaurants. the listing for the airbnb was accurate and helpful. make sure you scroll down and find Sebastian's guidebook linked on the posting - very helpful

We had a really nice weekend! The place was perfect, clean, cozy and very well equipped, exactly what we were looking for for our stay. We will not hesitate to return and recommend this accommodation to our loved ones.

A beautiful studio, clean and nice, bedding and pillows are perfect. this accommodation is well located in the Belle Epoque district 5 minutes walk from the center and 10 minutes from the thermal baths. The interaction with Élodie was nice. I would recommend this listing.

Charming cottage in an idyllic part of France. Friendly bistro within a stones throw and some beautiful neighbouring villages to visit. Ideal base for a family or couple break alike. Friendly hosts that add a personal touch. Highly recommend a break here to anyone that is visiting the area or passing through.

Perfect stay, impeccable cottage very well equipped, comfortable, really 100 meters from the beach. Isabelle is a very nice host, her welcome was perfect, and she gave me lots of ideas for visits and events to see... that I didn't even do so much I was between the cottage and my long walks on the beach! It's a very peaceful place, everything is as described, the parking space right in front: very convenient! the little garden is beautiful, everything is really perfect!

We loved our stay at Olivier's in the cottage la lantern by the Seine. Great breakfast at extra cost. We will go back in summer!

The location is great, next to the beach. The apartment is comfortable. Cyril is responsive and available. Ideal for relaxation! I recommend it.

Very charming cottage. Quiet, peacefull place near the woods with private garden. We’ve stayed with 2 small children. Lots of space. The cottage had everything you could possibly need, well equipped kitchen. In the evenings my son enjoyed watching the provided cartoons on dvd, even though he could watch netflix :) Thank you!

Friendly and very pleasant place under the Norman sun. Well-equipped house and ideal for hosting several families.

Our stay was short but well appreciated, my 4-year-old daughter had the joy of finding small toys at the entrance, we slept very well, the bedding is comfortable and the breakfast is hearty and delicious. The environment is amazing, the river flows at the bottom of the garden, the goats welcomed us joyfully and the ducks were well present (but wild!) in the pond. In short, we will gladly go back with pleasure!
