Vacation rentals in Lolay Khasmahal

We stayed for four nights at Monratino Ridge View Residency. One of the best homestay in Gangtok. Thank you Michelle, Passi and care taker Ranjeet for making our stay one of the best and memorable for us. Rooms were clean and view from the balcony were beautiful we got to see Mount Kanchenjunga in the morning. Michelle made sure our stays were perfect till the end we would definitely comeback soon and recommend everyone to come and stay in Monratino Ridge View Residency in Gangtok. Thank you Michelle and Passi once again.

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

Awesome view from balcony. right in the lap of Nature surrounded by mountains, trees and a very adorable cute puppy liza. the staff are very helpful, guided us to load / unload our luggage and always responsive. A perfect family vacation we spent for a night here. Appropriately named as birdsong for this place as we could hear sweet melodies sung by birds most of the time.

JJ's place was the best..we had a really wonderful time there. The host was very nice and friendly, my boyfriend and I enjoyed a lot, felt like home. Looking forward to visiting it Again! #no second thoughts just book JJ's place..you'll not regret :) Trust me🤍

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with a lovely aesthetic and pretty furniture that made our stay feel extra special. The common balcony was very wide and had sitting arrangements. The living area was perfect for relaxing very cozy and thoughtfully designed. The amenities provided were excellent, including a geysers, induction stove, tea leaves, milk, coffee, and a TV, which made our stay very comfortable. Our host was incredibly cooperative, polite, and friendly. She truly made us feel at home and we all enjoyed her company. The food was simply delicious – all organic home-cooked and prepared exactly how we wanted. It was clear that she took great care in cooking for us. She also arranged a car for our trip, which was really convenient and much appreciated. We are truly thankful for such a pleasant stay and would love to return here in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at this flat in Darjeeling! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning mountain view. The toy train passing by with its charming choo choo sound was a delightful experience. One of the bathrooms was not working, but we were promptly given access to another one in a different room, which was a thoughtful solution. The location was good, but the steep uphill walk felt like a trek—something to keep in mind for elderly travelers. A special mention to Dhiraj’s mom, who made delicious parathas, puri bhaji, and omelets—her cooking truly added a homely touch to our stay. Overall, a great place to stay in Darjeeling if you don’t mind the climb! Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at Minzur’s family home. The host was extremely helpful and is a great place to stay when in Darjeeling.

We had a wonderful stay in Badamtam in Rebika ji’s house. It’s a very pretty house, with thoughtfully decorated interiors and spacious balconies having great views of the surrounding mountains and tea gardens. Rebika ji is an amazing host and made us feel right at home from the moment we had checked in. Her home cooked meals were delicious and always served hot and with lots of love ❤️. We also enjoyed bonfire every evening and Rebika ji prepared a lovely barbecue along with the bonfire on new year eve 🥰. Rebika ji’ son Ashu was very helpful and courteous. He showed us around the place and took us to nice view points. It’s pet friendly which was an addendum advantage to us. Overall we had an awesome and fun stay in Rebika ji’s place and would like to visit again. Thanks Rebika ji for your wonderful hospitality and warmth for us!
