Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Loch Shiel

The property was spotless and very well appointed. We were welcomed on arrival by Murdo, Alison’s husband. There was a very nice welcome basket awaiting us containing wine, crisps, biscuits and other goodies. There was a comprehensive booklet covering the functionality of all the appliances as well as local attractions. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and hope we can return again in the future. Perfect location, perfect accommodation and perfect host!! Highly recommended!

Aaron is a top host always responsive and friendly. The house is excellent and on a prime location for everything. Great walks for dogs, and plenty places to have a coffee or dine out. Inside, the house is very homely and comfortable. Large kitchen with everything you need. Bedrooms are all excellent with TV in a couple of them and bathrooms on suit. Back garden with table and chairs to sit outside on the decking weather permitting. There's a Co-op and a U-save just minutes along the main street if you need anything. I enjoy Callander, and spent two lovely quiet nights at Aarons house and I highly recommend it. I will definitely consider returning in future. Thank you Aaron!

Can’t say enough about how comfortable, peaceful, and full of character Vera’s place was. As others have said the photos don’t quite do it justice but it was very easy to feel at home and relaxed here - pristine and yet so cosy. We were just a few minutes from the beach, and it was a pleasure to walk around - parking is on-street but easy enough, and Fishertown holds so much charm, as does Nairn generally. Really friendly and easy-going. Loved our stay.

We had a fantastic stay with all our family at this house! The house itself was absolutely perfect for our large group. Very clean and had all the amenities required! High chair and travel cot provided (have to take your own mattress which wasn’t a problem). The games room was a hit with everybody and the kitchen was the hub of the weekend 🥰 beautiful area and beautiful sea views from the living room. The house is big enough that everybody still has their own space but can also come together and relax in the one room too 😁 My brother & sister-in-law have already booked again for December for another family holiday! Really good price for what you get compared to some other establishments who are much more expensive (and probably not half as nice)! Thanks for a great stay 😁

WOW, this place is smack dab in the middle of all the stuff. It is a perfect location for walking and exploring. We were there over the New Year and even saw the fireworks! Bathrooms are odd but doable if you have a family like ours that doesn't mind the sharing bit. The kitchen is perfectly laid out and a great place to sit, snack, and visit after a whole day of exploring. We also had a rented car, and a dedicated parking spot was vital! The location alone made it worth it; all the other things about this apartment were just an additional bonus! Much thanks to the host, he indeed is a SUPER host!

Rugosa is a beautiful, comfortable house. The kitchen is well equipped with every utensil and dish you need for home cooking. The living areas are tasteful while allowing complete relaxation and the open fire was an added bonus. We found the beds very comfortable and storage was good. Daniel answered all my questions quickly and fully. All in all we could fault nothing and we would definitely stay in Rugosa again should we ever return to Skye. Thank you Daniel.

We were up in Inverness for a wedding and Darren’s place was the perfect location. The whole place was modern, cosy and kitted out with everything we needed. We also received a lovely welcome pack with all the information required. I can get nervous about sleeping in hotel beds etc but Darren’s place was spotless and the mattress and duvets were soooo clean and comfortable! Darren was also very responsive and when we had a question just before we checked out, he replied really quickly which was extremely helpful! The whole process was seamless and we would recommend for anyone looking for a homely and inviting place to stay in Inverness. Thank you again Darren!

Beautiful home and spacious. Lots of open areas around and quiet. The house has lots of room and bedrooms. Well set up for couples or more. Carolyn was very responsive to questions and checked on us to make sure we made it there ok. the place is a little hard to find, but directions got us there without issue. I would definitely recommend, home was very clean and stocked with basics.

Just perfect. Seemed a bit old at first but couldn’t be further from the truth. All new appliances and fully functional with some charm. Great location, easy parking, walkable to everywhere. Host was always on top of it even during the storm of the century. So thankful for her help. We will be back

Lovely apartment with modern amenities -- clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We loved the location -- easily walkable to activities and attractions but its location across the river (it's just a few blocks from a pedestrian bridge) meant it was still quiet and peaceful. Paula and Simona were friendly and helpful.

We had to stay at Anna's due to a power cut at our place caused by a storm. Anna was very helpful and accommodated us at very short notice. Place was lovely and had everything we needed for the time we were there. Definitely recommend.

Karen was the perfect host. She was very helpful and flexible around our timings and provided lots of helpful information. The flat was so cosy and comfortable and a perfect base to explore Inverness which was within easy walking distance down the river. We packed loads in to our short break and it was delightful to come back to the lovely flat at the end of the day.

Host was very helpful, communicated well and responded very quickly. The property was lovely and clean. Will be happy to use again in the future.

My family and I really loved this place. Our only regret was that we only stayed a night. The surroundings were peaceful and the views were fantastic. It is close to Urquhart Castle which was a great attraction too.

We stayed a couple of nights in Morvern's place. it is newly renovated so clean and tidy and very comfortable. it's in a street of apartments a little way from the town centre....less than 5 minutes drive. it was very quiet at night. Morvern had also left out some breakfast cereals, cookies, fruit, milk, and so on..which was a lovely touch, and not very common these days. we had a great stay. and highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay, The location was stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful escape. The property was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Wendy and ude were excellent hosts, providing clear instructions and being very responsive throughout our visit. We’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and can’t wait to return!

Great stay at Paddy's place. kitchen well stocked with the essentials which is always useful. Also, Paddy kindly let me store my bike in her shed which I appreciate.

Lovely stay in a central location perfect for our Isle of Skye trip. Thoughtful host communication, clean and cosy place. The driveway got a bit icy but was gritted when realised and the wifi was a bit patchy but all in all an excellent stay.

We stayed at the Cobblerview Apartment for 4 nights, and both felt it was one of the best holidays we have had. The apartment itself had everything we needed for our stay, as well as possibly the best views you could ask for - mountains, trees, water, and sunsets! From the initial booking, Carol was fantastic. I was planning to propose on the holiday, and Carol made some excellent suggestions with photos, that ended up resulting in a proposal at the Falls of Falloch (she said yes!). Carol had also messaged us in advance to let us know we were able to check in earlier than the agreed time, which was very considerate. Instructions about the heaters, velux windows, and Smart TV were clear, and we had no issues at all during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and are already looking forward to our next stay!

Mairi was the most perfect and wonderful host who made us both feel extremely welcome from the get-go to our first stay in the Scottish Highlands. Mairi provided us with extremely clear instructions on how to find the accommodation which was super helpful and easy to follow. After a delayed check-in as a result of our tyre bursting, Mairi was extremely supportive and understanding and allowed us to check-in later than planned - thank you so much! The Skyfall apartment was the best place we have stayed in. From the apartment being spotlessly clean to pristine standards, the most comfiest bed we've slept in, amazing facilities, a super-relaxing bath-tub to the breathtaking views from the balcony...it was the most perfect, peaceful and relaxing stay you could ever wish for. This was our first stay in the Highlands and we will definitely be back to stay here as this accommodation is perfect for a relaxing visit for exploring some of Scotlands most beautiful landscape. Very easy to find, and normally straight forward to get parked. Small, cosy studio but it has absolutely everything you need. 10 seconds walk to Crofters, which does wonderful food all day long. The window views are immaculate. It can be a wee bit noisy due to the cafe with lots of activity, but that’s to be expected when you’re in such close proximity. We’ll be back.
