Places to stay in Lobelville

Two families stayed in the lodge totaling 4 adults and 6 kids. It was a great experience and the kids all want to go back!! We didn’t find any fish in the pond, but the creek was awesome and the scenery is gorgeous. We hiked the trail through the campsites and it was beautiful as well!

My family and I enjoyed our weekend stay, next time we will bring the fishing poles🥰 We really enjoyed ourselves, we discovered my Moms hidden talent…Ping Pong champion! Lol. Great space, very comfortable and peaceful!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the old post office. It’s convenient, comfortable, and charming. She’s done a perfect job reclaiming this old building for you to spend a night or two. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are perfect, and there’s workspace (I’m a writer researching a book in this area). It’s right in the middle of town so walking about is a pleasure as well. Stay here and you’ll love it too.

I chose this location to just get away for some peace and relaxation. It was important to me that the rental had a private pool and allowed dogs as I have an elderly dog that I wanted to take with me. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. The master bath was spacious. I enjoyed the pool area which had a nice seating area and the pool was great and used almost daily. The privacy fence was nice to have too. The neighborhood was quiet. I followed the recommendation listed in their welcome book about where to get groceries during my stay. I would recommend this place to others looking to get away to a quiet area.

Staying at Jana’s was such a blessing! We are building in the area and to have a home base to cook, do laundry, rest, and enjoy our evenings is so crucial for us right now during the stress of building and caring for a small farm while not being able to stay on site yet. Her home was so full of love and care towards meeting our needs. Stocked fridge, toiletries, laundry soap and so much more. She has everything there for emergencies and what makes a house a home. We loved it! The location is the best in waverly. Right downtown and 6 minutes from our property. We could go back n forth with ease. She was so accommodating and clearly cared about our well being. I would highly recommend her home!
