Waterfront vacation rentals in Livingston County

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

We had an enjoyable 1-month stay at this AirBnB! The location is fantastic, and we loved the ability to rent paddle boards just a few doors down at the MSU sailing center. The apartment was clean, comfortable and modern. We especially appreciated Dominic's responsiveness whenever we had an issue. As we stayed for several weeks, we did use the appliances including the laundry and dishwasher—all were functional and quiet. The kitchen is very nice, but probably best for guests cooking simple (rather than elaborate) meals. The one downside is that you can hear any guests staying in the second floor, and some of the tenants above were noisy/up late.

A beautiful getaway with everything you need to enjoy the surrounding land and Wolf Lake. Tim provides an abundance of supplies for activities like biking, kayaking, fishing, and more. It’s the perfect peaceful retreat!

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful experience at Dinara’s home. Everything listed was accurate and the town was nice with great restaurants only a few minutes walk away. Fully enjoyed my time and look forward to visiting again.

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

This home was so cute, well accommodated with all that we needed and a beautiful view of the lake! We had a great time there! Angie was great about communication and directions were clear! I would go back!

Melinda was an amazing host to say the least. She was very responsive to all of my questions (and I had a lot) and never made me feel like I was asking too much or a bother. The home was clean and had everything our family needed for a nice weekend stay. If you are looking for a nice home to stay in beautiful Howell, I recommend this home.

My family and I stayed at Amanda's Airbnb for a week while we were visiting for a friend's wedding. We were blown away as soon as we drove up. It was so beautiful, inside and out! It exceeded our expectations. It was so cozy and comfortable and the views from the porch of the fall scenery and lake were incredible. My boyfriend had to work remotely for a couple of days during our stay, so the home office area was perfect for that. Amanda was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating! We couldn't have asked for better place to be our home away from home for a week.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Christina's beautiful lake home. It was warm and inviting when we arrived, had everything we needed and most of all it was super clean. This lovely lake home would be our first choice if we were in Brighton again. Christina went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and was very responsive with any questions we had. Wow! What a view! We traveled to MI for my son’s wedding and needed a place to host us all. The property was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful 180 degree lake view home. Top notch host, added extra touches to insure an excellent stay! Really enjoyed the home, we found it very serene and relaxing to watch the shimmering sun and visiting swans on the water. The home is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay perfect! We hope to return for another stay at this wonderful lake front gem!
