We couldn’t have picked a better home to spend Thanksgiving in! The house was absolutely perfect—spacious, modern, and comfortable, with the most stunning, private views of the lake. Waking up to those breathtaking views every morning made our holiday extra special. Malik was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating every step of the way, ensuring our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The home felt like the perfect retreat, and we’re so grateful for the experience. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Helen & Richie’s place. It’s so cozy and nice. The lake view is amazing, what more can you ask for. The weather was perfect, so we kayaked and used the fire pit. Thanks for letting us staying at your place!

Two words: Pure Magic. I was lucky enough to stay at John's place for 4 absolutely wonderful days with 11 of my closest friends and family. Every one of us had a great time, thanks to the amenities this place offers. Location: Absolutely cannot be beat for nature lovers who value peace and quiet. This is a prime area for foliage viewing. You literally have a giant lake to yourself. Home: All rooms and common areas were clean and well stocked with everything you might ever need + extras. Just bring yourself and get ready to relax. Communication: Hosts were extremely quick and proactive in communicating and responding to any questions. Extra perks: Game room, lawn sports, water activities, fire pit and hot tub, all free for you to enjoy. This is a 5-star resort experience found within a quaint AirBnB. I almost regret leaving such a stellar review, as I'm planning on returning and don't want to fight everyone else for a spot here.

Anne Marie’s place is outstanding. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The space was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. The hot tub was a wonderful touch—spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The views were stunning from every angle, whether you were on the porch, around the fire pit, or by the barbecue area on the side of the house. Wherever you were outdoors, the scenery was beautiful, and there was plenty of space for kids to play and explore. Anne Marie was an amazing host—very responsive, kind, and generous.

It was a beautiful location and the house was perfect for my family and our dog. The kitchen has everything you need to cook in or BBQ outside. The bedrooms are roomy and the pull out couch in the living was an added bonus! The front porch was perfect to read a book. The walk to the lake is 5 minutes away and the sunset was magnificent. Copake lake boat and ski 8 passenger pontoon well worth the money for a day on the lake. Lake Taghkanic State Park is family friendly, very clean and great to paddle board and relax. Norman Rockwell museum is a wonderful family day trip in Stockbridge , MA. Great Barrington, MA is a lovely town with many restaurants and shopping. I look forward to returning in the fall to see the leaves changing colors!

I would highly recommend this property to anybody who wants a fantastic relaxing holiday . The scenery is spectacular right on the lake and yet you are only a 5 minute drive to the Shops and restaurants in Newtown.

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

2nd time visiting and I wish I had more free time to do so ! This has to be my fav BNB ever and I am a frequent flyer of trying new ones. A must visit. If you are into home decor/ antiques, the decorations of this place are out of this world. You could keep busy just by looking at the plants and items displayed for a while. Each room has a different theme and feels like something out a movie or time capsule. If you like nature, this is such a good hidden gem of an area. Winsted and the surrounding area has woods, waterfalls, rivers, and more. Many good hiking spots or just pull offs on the side of the road. John, the host, has showed me a lot of amazing spots I often find myself daydreaming about. John himself is also so helpful and willing to provide recommendations on anything you need. I even texted him at a late hour about a kitchen supply need and he responded within minutes. He ensures your stay is simple and comfortable. He is VERY accommodating to any of your hospitality needs

We fell in love with this beautiful home. Every room has a gorgeous view. The beds were very comfortable, which is a huge plus. The location was accessible to everything. I would absolutely stay again!

We were so happy with our decision to stay at Austin’s rental. The lake is very pretty and so accessible to look at through the big front windows and doors — OR just step outside and walk across the street to get even more up close. We couldn’t have asked for a better location! Cleanliness (the most important part of any stay in my opinion) met our standards/exceeded most others that we’ve stayed in. And being able to bring our dogs improved the quality of our holiday getaway. The whole experience was incredibly comfortable, easy, and hassle-free. We will absolutely stay again… and again.

I love staying at Elisabeth’s place! It has become my “home away from home”. Cozy, comfy and just perfect!

The house was everything we imagined and more! The space is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, the fire pit is easy to use, and the hot tube with the view of the lake is amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. Feyza is very friendly and attentive. She takes the best care of her guests and her house.

Kevin’s home is right out of a designer magazine. From the freshly picked hydrangeas on the table from the back garden to the well-stocked chef’s kitchen to the tastefully curated antiques — it was all wonderful. We loved Kevin’s local suggestions and appreciated the great care he puts into making this a special place. My favorite room was the front parlor with the cozy fireplace. It is the quintessential Connecticut countryside dream house. Thank you Kevin!

This beautiful home was everything we needed and more. Cheryl/Hannah were excellent communicators, built a beautiful home, and gave us excellent suggestions. The location was perfect, next to a beautiful lake, where we rented a pontoon and spent the day swimming and relaxing. I could not recommend this place more and these hosts were TOP NOTCH!

We enjoyed our short but sweet stay. The backyard provided the perfect amount of space for our dog. The house itself was a cozy little get away. The wood stove did a great job heating the house for the colder nights and mornings.

John’s airbnb was absolutely what we were looking for. It was charming yet modern; we felt right at home! We’re so thankful to John, his quick response time made the whole experience that much better. We would absolutely stay again!

The lake is so peaceful, and the neighborhood is quiet. The perfect house for some downtime from a busy life, I would recommend . Rose is great at declutter and cleanliness, but still adds a flair of hominess and style. Will be your favorite home away from home in the summer if you love trees, birds, peacefullness and a beautiful lake to paddle on!!

We had a lovely stay at Alejandro’s cozy place at Copake Lake. The house was so clean, spacious, and full of all the amenities we needed for a quiet weekend and few days working remotely. Convenient location to friends in the area and plenty to explore in Hudson, Great Barrington, and Hillsdale. Being able to use the fireplace (especially on extra chilly days) was the icing on top!
