Outstanding place to stay. Only 20 minutes from Waco. Mary and her family are amazing and very friendly. They made us feel at home. Our grandkids loved helping to care for their animals. Safe place to go for a walk. The farmhouse was very clean and accommodating. We will definitely be staying there again. It felt like you were visiting your own family home. Thanks to Mary and her family 🥰

Vickie was super helpful and responsive. She went above and beyond to answer our questions and needs. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! It fit our needs perfectly for our fishing tournament. We were able to park our boat in the driveway and were close to the boat ramp. Vickie is one of the best hosts we have had! We look forward to staying here again.

Had a wonderful time. The house was just what we needed to spend Thanksgiving together since all my kids are spread out over Texas. The house was clean & had almost everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner and the added space in the cute little shed/room was an added bonus. Would love to go back during warmer weather & enjoy the lake too. I would just add a fire pit with chairs around for the colder months.

The house was perfect for our family get together. We really enjoyed spending down time together and fishing from the pier. The house was pristine. It did take a little time to cool the house down after we arrived, but it was no big deal as we spent a lot of time outside. Def plan to return soon!

This little cabin was the absolute cutest. very peaceful place for us to escape from the busy city life and kids. The hot tub was amazing, the view was perfect to lay out in the hammock, and the inside was super cozy and perfect! definitely recommend!

Great family getaway. Something for everyone. From the fishing, exotic animals, pool table, shuffleboard and the great outdoors. The tour behind the high fence to see the wildlife was great for the kids. The place was well stocked with all the necessities. I think we could have shown up with just our clothes and water (as recommended) and we would have had everything we needed there. The wild game meat was a great surprise for the outdoor lovers of the group. Highly recommend for families who want to spend time without all the electronic distractions that come with life these days.

The lake house is beautiful, the setting is peaceful and serene. The home is well appointed, with all dishes and cookware, towels and other household items, as well as many activities. The home is clean. Jennifer is extremely responsive. This home is several (10 or so) miles out of town and several more (about 5) down the lake road once you turn off the main road, in a peaceful lake community. If you are looking for a true getaway, with a great host, this is it!

The Brazos House at Lake Limestone Marina

We would stay again. Four of us stayed at the Brazos House, although it could comfortably sleep many more. It is very spacious. There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. One bathroom is an ensuite bathroom with a separate tub and shower. The other is a Jack & Jill bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The kitchen is well-equipped. It is located right next to the marina, which is very convenient. The only minor drawbacks were no ball for the foosball machine, we couldn't get the DirectTV to work, and if WiFi was available, we couldn't connect. But we weren't there for those things anyway, so we didn't pursue a resolution. Also, the front porch was full of mosquitos but that is the area and time of year. Be aware that it is upstairs and there is no elevator. My elderly mom was able to get to it though via a grassy hill that goes almost to the second floor. Great accommodation for a large group and a wonderful view of the lake.
