Everything was good. Quick answer, good communicate.

John's communication was exceptional, fast response with messages. Really helpful during the stay and recommended some walks in the woods. Lovely house and surrounding area, hot tub was great on cold evenings. All bedrooms were lovely, nice and warm with an open fire and log burner kept the house nice and warm. 100% would stay here again, it was perfect for 2 families.

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

Cheerful hosts. Responds quickly and available if you need anything. Easy to find the place, nice apartment with good opportunity to cook your own food. Easy and easy check in. Would recommend!

Great place to stay and enough for a big family. The place is cozy and very put together. Keep in mind that you will be renting someone’s home so you will most definitely be running into their stuff when hanging your clothes, organizing your stuff…etc. Just be mindful of the place you’re renting. Tonje is very responsive when needed and always willing to help. Great spot overall!

Perfect house for a big and active family. The house contains all facilities including everything tital an active holiday such as bikes, kayaking, garden games. Perfect location close to the water and very central. Highly recommended.

The place was great. Me and my friend both highly enjoyed the place and equally the commute to get to it.

Very cozy place, tidy and clean at check in. Should be mentioned that there is a car road outside bedrooms that makes some noise but not prohibitive I think.

Nice place and nice host.

The house of Stevan is great. Just 20 minutes by bus from the Central station of Oslo, in a nice part of Norway. In 10 minutes walk you are at a beach, Where you can swim and relax. The house is great. A nice livingroom where you can watch Netflix, a fine kitchen to cook. Everything you need is available. I would really recommend this place!

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We had a very pleasant stay with two adults and two children. Awesome house, clean and welcoming, all amenities. The location was quiet and peaceful and very lovely with a pool in the heat :) Pia responded quickly and was very service minded. We would love to come back :)

We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.
