Very well located apartment, perfect location to get to know the area. Lots of tranquility , lovely neighbors. Carmen is a great host , she had details with us and very good communication, she sent us all the recommendations

The house is just as described in the listing. We were three families, 12 people in total, with children between 2-9 years old and they had a phenomenal time, the house is super comfortable for families. The communication with the host is great, anything we needed or questions we had was resolved.

The owner is very quick to respond. Prior to our arrival he sent very detailed instructions on getting to the house and on local sights that are worth seeing. The house is ideal and was very clean. It has all that is needed with plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses etc. The owner is an artist and the house is decorated with his pictures. There is off street parking for two cars and there are bikes in the shed for local cycling if you wish to. Ideally located for Santander and for local sights including the mountains.

we had a great holiday at the house. The photos don't show enough how big and beautiful the garden is. Also the house is more spacious than we expected in the pictures. Received by Lucia upon arrival. Being able to communicate in English. (I don't speak Spanish). There was also a delicious local delicacy ready for us. Very attending. The house was sparkling clean. And more spacious than I expected. The garden is large and fully fenced so our dog could walk loose. There was space for sun and shade. From the covered porch we had mountain views. The pool was wonderful as well. We were able to swim in it on hot days. It is large enough for a family of 4. The peace, the silence. Only sounds of the countryside. Cows, dogs, birds, toads. Very restful. And last but not least, the area. Really beautiful. What a beautiful region. Lucia thank you!

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and Jose was such a lovely guy. He was always contactable. He gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit which we did and throughly enjoyed them all. The pool was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed it. Check in and out was flexible which was excellent.

Our stay in El Espinal was an unforgettable experience. The house, with its imposing architecture, transported us to another era. Its spacious spaces and prime location make it an ideal place to disconnect. The proximity to villages with as much history as Comillas and Santillana del Mar made our visit even more special. We enjoy walks through its cobblestone streets and the local cuisine. In addition, the sunsets at El Rayo Verde were a unique natural spectacle. The house offers multiple options to enjoy as a family. The pool, safe for the little ones, was our favorite corner. Trekking through the eucalyptus forests allowed us to connect with nature. Sadly, the tennis court is not operational. Despite some peculiarities of an old construction, the charm of El Espinal is undeniable. We would highly recommend this house

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was ideal for three adults and two teenagers. The beds were comfortable; the three bathrooms with showers perfect for a family and the kitchen had all we needed. The supermarket was near by and the pizza restaurant opposite was good. The beach was a little further away than indicated, but was good. The nearby 13 bus ran approximately every 30-45 minutes apart from Sundays and a festival which took us by surprise. There was no timetable, so we had to guess approximately when it would arrive! We would recommend this holiday home .

The house is very clean and comfortable, the surrounding environment is particularly good, and it is very close to the Safari Zoo.The host was warm and welcoming and prepared to give us a very good tasty handmade cake.And their dogs are very loved ones and their horses are very sweet.We enjoyed our stay and recommend it!

The stay has been a luxury, the house is amazing with a lot of comforts to be great even when the weather doesn't allow it, which has also not been our case so we could enjoy a great barbecue in the huge garden. Regarding Olga is a charm, from the first moment he gave us all the possible facilities and recommended activities and places to visit. In short, a real pleasure.

Our stay at Feli's place was great. Nothing is missing in the house (it is as if you are going to a family member's house), the garden is very good and is completely closed, we travel with our Sia galga, and it's been a pipe. Thank you Feli

It was a very pleasant stay, the house is very nice , spacious, has everything you need and is very comfortable. Lourdes is a great host , always attentive and very kind. A perfect place to visit Santander and the villages of Cantabria Definitely a place to repeat.

Fantastic- we rented both units, which were both beautiful. Natalia was so welcoming and accommodating. Very responsive and helpful with recommendations and directions. Would definitely come back!

A fantastic traditional house well situated for enjoying Comillas town and beach. This is a home from home feel, the house has clearly been used as a personal holiday home for decades and so it is filled with comfy details, interesting things and a very well equipped kitchen. There is WiFi too, which pleased the teenagers in the party. Parking is a little tricky at high season (July-August) but the main road above the house is a good place to find a spot if the closer by parking is full. We recommend Quo Vadis restaurant for Pizza and lovely pasta. Our group took great advantage too of the surfing beach 10 mins drive away from the house. Oyambre Surf company had surf board for hire on a walk in basis at the beach. Comillas is perfect for a multi-generational family holiday. Thanks to Florian and Veronica for their help.

Unbeatable stay!! The house is beautiful and very clean, with everything you need in a very quiet place. Although the weather did not accompany the house made the trip amazing, with a very cozy living room. Jesus the host is very kind and attentive at all times. Definitely a place I would repeat

Gerardo was very nice to us, and waited till night after or flight was delayed. He offered hints on where to go, what to visit.

We all loved Oscar’s house and felt right home. It is an incredible place for kids, we had a hard time convincing them to leave the house. Another amazing feature, which you cannot perceive from the pictures, is the peaceful surroundings. It is definitively the place to stay at when visiting the region.

Good value for a group of 15, but as we were only 7, a bit pricey. Otherwise, we were extremely happy here. The house is spacious and well built and everything was supplied. We only needed to bring our clothes and groceries. We especially appreciated the welcoming bowl of fresh fruit that Umberto prepared for our arrival.

The house is very beautiful. The location of the house is about 4km from the highway. The size of the house is very sufficient and the rooms are large. The garage is enough to park two cars. Esther was very nice to check in and out. Everything was perfect.
