Kimberly’s home was clean and well maintained. Navigating the neighborhood to locate the home is a bit tricky (even with clear instructions and GPS) and limited parking which was also clearly explained prior to arrival. Gratefully they also own the home next door so we were able to overcome and once arrived we had minimal reason to leave. The water views from the screen deck and sunsets are worth the minimal hassle.

We are returning guests the goat house farm. This year we stayed in the cottage. It was perfect. In fact, it was the relaxing vacation I didn’t know I needed. Peaceful seclusion that allowed for reading, napping, eating, and repeating. The experience of being on the farm is always delightful. Toby, a gentle Pyrenees, and my dog Blue became good pals. Some baby goats were born while were there and I love the cats and chickens. Melissa is such a positive, hard-working person. She is always willing to share the farm experience but also respectful of the guest’s personal space. We love it there and hope to be back.

Great place to stay! Jason was very communicative and made sure the heat was on prior to arrival, as it had just snowed the day before we arrived. The view of the lake out back was very nice and the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area

The place was perfect for 4 fishermen wanting to get on the lake. Everyone had their own room. The dock was great for dock fishing and docking the boat. The kitchen had most everything you would need. Water pressure was a bummer and you can't run both showers at the same time. it was great for us guys. Thanks again. The host were awesome and quick to respond

the place is just amazing quiet and peaceful surroundings.. kids enjoyed fishing from dock on the lake .. house was laid back and has everything u need rite there .. kavon was always checking in to make sure we were fine and didn't need anything.. it snowed well we were there added bonus for sure .. we will definitely be back next year ..best place around for sure ... if u want peace and relaxation and a place to fish and close to Tallahassee this is the place for sure ... thanks kavon again for making our stay perfect

Absolutely beautiful house so much room and very well taken care of! The view is amazing and the options of where to sit and enjoy it is also amazing. All the gathering areas were comfortable and set up beautifully and the beds were awesome. We felt very comfortable and at home and had everything we needed. We were only there for a short time but June and Harold have supplied tons of indoor and outdoor games and the bar is awesome. In conclusion great home, great hosts and a great time!

Talquin Time: Lakefront - Dock - Pool Table

The house was perfect! What you see on the listing is exactly what it was when you arrived. Traveled with teenage boys who loved fishing off the dock while I enjoyed my coffee on the back porch. David was very responsive when I had questions and always very helpful. We will be back for sure!

Melissa's place at Lake Talquin is super nice! My family has stayed at LT many times at different Airbnb's, and THIS one is my favorite! We do a lot of fishing! I was able to sit comfortably on the dock, waiting for a catfish to take the hook. My husband and son were able to launch our boat at a nearby marina and dock it at the lake house. Very convenient! It's not much of a walk from the back door down to the end of the dock. The house is very clean with lots of room. Kitchen is well stocked with (i think) anything you'd possibly need! I really liked being able to sit anywhere in that living room/kitchen/dining area and look out the large floor to ceiling windows onto the lake! There is a large screened in porch which leads out to another porch. I LOVE being outside and this place had me feeling like I was never stuck inside! I completely recommend this lake house!
