The Hemlock retreat was exactly what we needed for parents of two little kids to get away for a few days. The house was absolutely spotless! The kitchen and dining area was airy and bright with beautiful views of the woods. We watched deer, turkey and woodpeckers during meals. We enjoyed hiking along the creek and through the forest; it's clear that the owners love this property and put a lot of effort into the forest management. The sauna, fireplace and large tub were so nice for warming up. They even provided firewood. The owners house is nearby, but all the main windows face the other direction towards the woods, so we felt like we had lots of privacy. The bed is on the softer side but we slept comfortably. The smart tv was great, and I loved having access to the Sonos speaker in the kitchen so I could play music while cooking. Overall we would definitely come back; it was the perfect stay despite the cold march weather so I imagine it's beautiful in every season. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay.beautiful home and surroundings.. The one thing that would be nice to have is an earlier check in time (so we could enjoy more of the day) and a checkout between 11:00-12:00 instead of 10.. Not a deal breaker just a suggestion 🤗 Thank you

The house was beautifully done, furnished comfortably, and met our needs perfectly. We stayed during a winter storm and it was cozy and relaxing watching the snow fall. Our hosts made sure that the driveway and porch were cleared before we left. We were there during Valentine's weekend and they added extra touches of Valentine's decorations (not too overdone, but perfect to give that extra cuteness). We would love to stay there again!

Beautiful little airbnb up in the thumb! We stayed overnight to visit family in a nearby village. Clean, easy to find, and super cute! Will definitely stay again!

We stayed here with our wedding party for our wedding weekend. There was ample space for everyone to stay, plenty of bathrooms with great shampoo/conditioner. The bride and bridesmaids got ready at this house before the event and there was plenty of room for two makeup artists and a hair stylist without feeling crowded at all. Bonus is that it was super close to our venue! Overall the house is beautiful, the service was great and we would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

We absolutely loved the accommodations and cleanliness of the house. The rooms were clutter free and we found rooms cozy and felt right at home. We took our small doxie and she loved the beach area and Bach yard. Grounds were well kept and our dog loved to roam the large lot. Check in and check out was easy and instructions were left inside as soon as you walked in. We All had a great time here!!
