Mr. Frank came out to greet us on arrival and directed us to where we were staying. The B and B was exactly like pictures/discription and stocked with tea, coffee, ice, and lots of soaps/shampoo/conditioner, etc. When my son locked the bathroom door by mistake, Mr. Frank fixed it right away. They were very welcoming and the Band B was inexcellent condition. I will definitely use them in the future!

This place was just what we needed. We rented this place following a death in the family locally and we needed somewhere for family to gather and be together. This house and the property was everything we could ask for. Quiet. Peaceful. Spacious enough to allow for individual space when needed. The property is beautiful. The house has character and comfort. The hosts have stocked EVERYTHING a person could need. And it has an amazing vibe and history. It felt to all of us that there has been much love and laughter in this historic home which is just what we needed. Thank you for hosting us.

What a beautiful spot to spend the weekend. The log cabin is homey, cozy and inviting. Every detail has been thought of and spending time here truly feels like an escape. We try and stay here whenever we are in the area visiting our daughter and Kenyon and we look so forward to our visits.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. We got to enjoy being disconnected from the world while not being completely lost. We stayed for two nights and we utilized everything this retreat had to offer. The hot tub, shower, and fishing in the lake were what stood out the most to us and there are a few fish in the pond!

This cabin is a beautiful getaway with so many magical little details. Lisa is such a great, responsive and informative host ! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, snacks, goodies and self care items! It was so clean and cozy, stocked with games, movies, hot tub, plenty to do! We could’ve spent our whole vacation in the cabin. Plenty to do close by. We will definitely be returning to Lisa’s cabin :)

We had a great weekend at Nancy's place. The house was clean and had all the amenities described. We enjoyed the fire pit stocked with wood and the hot tub. There was plenty of space for our group and having 2 full bathrooms was nice. The location was perfect for hiking and activities in Mohican. I definitely recommend staying here and would stay again!

Clean, comfortable, cozy, charming. Everything we were looking for and more. We just needed a place for the night. So much nicer and comfortable than any hotel could be. Hosts were friendly, quick to respond and clearly attentive to detail and should be proud of their accommodations. Would not even consider staying somewhere else if ever in the area again.

We were so fortunate and grateful to stumble upon this beautiful and well maintained gem of a home in Mt. Vernon. This was the perfect halfway point for our family of 6 as we headed back to NY. We immediately felt right at home and were blown away by the generous hospitality that we were provided with from the coffee station, to the treats and beverages, and thoughtful note and information provided. The only regret we had was not being able to spend more time here to enjoy the comforts of this special home and to explore all that the charming town had to offer.

Alan's lakehome was big and beautiful. the large docks allowed for lots of fishing w the grandkids. they went crazy when they saw the gameroom. such joy! the fire pit was perfect for evening gatherings. a Lil embarrassed to admit this, but we asked where we could find an air hockey puck and they actually had someone drive one over to us! that is 5 star service!!!
