The cabin is within short walking distance of pubs, dinning, and the lake. A mile north is a bowling alley and put put golf and ice cream. At the harbor on Friday nights they have music in the park, rent boats or kayaks, or have dinner on the lake.

The house itself was great and accommodating our large group. The back deck was wonderful to hang out on during the day and the bonfire closer to the water in the evening.

Great Beach House! My family and I stayed here for 4 nights. The surroundings are beautiful. We watched the sunrise over the lake every morning and enjoyed the patio and fire pit each evening. We enjoyed the early morning wildlife-bald eagle, deer in the lake, a multitude of different birds, and enjoyed watching and looking up thw freighters as they passed. The lake was supeisingly warm even when thw temperature outside was only in the 60's. Definitely bring water shoes! Port Austin was a short drive North where they hold an amazing Farmer's market on Saturday.

Don and Giselle are great hosts - proactive, friendly and helpful. They truly want their guests to have what they need and enjoy their stay. The land surrounding the cabin is gorgeous and the short drive to area beaches, the delightful village of Port Sanilac, and great food make for a very comfortable and relaxing time. The cabin itself is unique and a cool blast from the past! All the arcade games were a special treat. It’s a wonderful place for both kids and adults, and I recommend it without reservation. Kyle was an absolutely incredible host! We visited from Canada and absolutely loved our stay. If you're looking for a true 'cottage getaway', you will absolutely love this Airbnb. We definitely plan on returning! Our only gripe was the "small" neighbourhood but that has nothing to do with Kyle or the Airbnb itself.

Loved this sweet little beach house with lots of character and everything we needed. Cozy and comfortable, morning walks to the beach for sunrise were superb! Pamela was a great host, we enjoyed our visit.

The apartment was in the absolute best location. We were able to walk to activities, groceries, events, and the lake. It is in a busy part of town, with traffic and pub activity, so it’s not a getaway itself, but the ad was clear about that and earplugs for sleeping solved it. It was worth it to be in such a convenient location! Mark was super responsive and answered any of our questions, was helpful, and serves (and roasts!) awesome coffee right downstairs!
