Gorgeous location and cozy house with a lovely library of books.

Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Super cozy, not far from town, and the doggie family members felt right at home, too.

WOW. Curated OCEAN artwork fills the walls and shelves, the calming coastal hues throughout, the beautifully coordinated MASTER BATH (LOVE that tile!) and well-appointed kitchen were treats, not to mention the "themed" and nicely appointed bedrooms, all contributed to a visual "trip" in and of itself. Outside, the location beautiful, quiet and serene, its unobstructed view of the cove, sunsets, and the lighthouse light sweeping around was other-worldly in a GOOD way. The SEA SOUNDS were a PLUS: crashing waves (we were there during the big Feb storm of 2025), sea lions' song, nightly frog choruses <sigh> were PRECISELY what we High Desert dwellers NEED--VITAMIN SEA--from time-to-time!). Helpful binders of tips and info on local shops, restaurants, places to go, were indispensable (dashing through the rain) as were the hosts own "best of" suggestions for local coffee shops, restaurants, hikes, etc. Pebble Palace was aahhhhhh-inspiring.

This river oasis was the perfect getaway for our family of 4. It was super clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. It is only about a 4 minute drive to downtown Guernville so the location is great for day trips to the redwoods and coast. We would definitely recommend staying with Michael in this place. He is an extremely responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed. 5 stars.

We loved our stay at Michael's place. The beds were co comfortable, we had everything we needed and more, and getting to spend cold evenings in the hottub was such a treat. Michael's communication could not have been better and we will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit!

My family and I had a fun, cozy stay here over Christmas. Enjoyed the hot tub, cooking in the kitchen, comfy beds with nice-quality linens, and the mellow Mendocino vibe. We would definitely stay again. Thank you, Jennifer and Amy!

Had an amazing stay at this lakehouse! The location is perfect—right on the water with beautiful views and easy access to the lake. Spent a lot of time fishing and just relaxing by the water. The hot tub was a great bonus, perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The house itself was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for family and friends to gather, and it really felt like a home away from home. We had such a great time making memories here and will definitely be back! Highly recommend.
