Though I live close by in Cary, I needed a quiet retreat to finish writing my book and Barbara's place was perfect! Thoughtful touches throughout the home, incredibly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as if you were at home, and Barbara's communication was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for everyone as it's great for solo travelers, couples, or families. Make sure you have a sit in the hanging chair in the living room - it's delightful :) Thanks, Barbara!

This was our second stay at this beautiful house and we loved every minute of it. We caught lots of fish off the dock, ate family dinners on the deck, went for long walks around the neighborhood, played the Cradle while enjoying this meticulously clean and perfectly appointed house. Sondra and Jody were very responsive and very helpful!! We can’t wait for our next stay!!!

The house was great for our girls’ trip! The house was well stocked, clean, easy to find all the info we needed (like check in, Wi-Fi info, check out) and a great location to the spa and downtown pinehurst! We had plenty of space in the house.

Stacie’s place was perfect for a quick golf weekend in Southern Pines. It’s only a couple of blocks into town which made walking to dinner and drinks easy every night. Minutes from all the golf resorts and a quick drive to PH. Thank you!

The Peaceful Pine

We had a great family trip to this cabin in the woods. The cabin was right by a lake, and we spent a lot of time fishing off the pier — we caught about 20 fish! It was fantastic. The cabin itself was a true log cabin with a really cozy feel. It had three bedrooms and a loft, so there was plenty of space. There was also a game room that we really enjoyed. My nephew loved it — he played table hockey, chess, and checkers in there. The screened-in porch was probably my favorite part. It had a huge propane grill that we used to cook breakfast and grill the fish we caught. There was a big table out there where we played games, and a rocking swing where we just sat and relaxed. There were also two fire pits. We used one out on the pier one night, which was really cool, and the other one was on the back porch. Sitting around the fire at night made it even better. Honestly, it was one of the best family vacations we had in a long time. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back!

We loved our stay at this cute cottage and will definitely be back next time we’re in town! The cottage was spotless and very cozy — we had everything we needed for our weekend trip. The location is perfect, close to many great restaurants and things to do, but also tucked away and nice quiet street. Amanda was super helpful and responsive as well.

Marilyn's house is fantastic. Its is spacious, airy, and inviting. Our family had a wonderful weekend. It was the perfect spot from which to explore both Raleigh and Chapel Hill. Marilyn is very communicative and was very gracious and accommodating with us. I definitely hope to stay again in the future

This was a great stay and is now on the radar for a summer family vacation spot. We liked the peacefulness and the water being right out back. It was nice that there were items left behind including some of the basics condiments in the fridge along with cooking spices, etc. We left some coffee behind because that was the only thing missing when we woke up after a late check in. We really enjoyed the home and amenities. My wife did not want to leave and felt that we were at her forever home.

Natalie was the perfect host from the beginning to the end. She responded quickly to any concerns or questions we had. The location was in a quiet and rural area, but close and convenient to shopping and dining facilities. The house itself was clean and comfortable, with all needed amenities provided. The game room and large back yard were bonuses for when the grandchildren visited. We highly recommend Natalie’s place and look forward to returning! Our stay was so lovely that we extended 2 days and would have extended more if we didn’t have jobs to go back to and our son needs to go to school ha! It was absolutely tranquil and peaceful. The property is absolutely stunning and the interior is just as beautiful. Very well kept home with a lot of charm that made the whole experience cozy and we just didn’t want to leave. Mitch was a lovely host, always available to help if needed and we will certainly be looking this place up if we’re ever in town again, it’s a true gem!

New Pines Retreat -Brand new home!

The only problem was the lock stuck. We arrived at 2 am and didn't get in the house until 3 am. Had to wake Lucy at 3 in the morning. She had a backup key, but a different code. Later found out that if we had physically pushed the door while using code it would have worked. Other than that, great place.

I had to book this last minute due to a family emergency, and the hosts went above and beyond to be accommodating, understanding, and sympathetic. Their kindness made a stressful situation much easier. As for the house—wow! It was absolutely incredible. From the breathtaking views to the cozy flames, endless activities, and thoughtful touches throughout, every detail exceeded my expectations. I felt completely at home and truly comfortable, even during a difficult time. If you’re considering booking, stop searching and do it now! I promise you (and your pups) won’t regret it!

Tim's place was welcoming and he was a responsive, available host. Check-in was smooth and easy. Check-in tips: If arriving at night, the lighting is low and condo unit numbers unobtrusive, so recommend having a good lighting source. Also, the condos are numbered sequentially up one side of the drive-way and down the opposite side v odds or evens all on one side as is typical in residential US. Tim's is toward the end on the left. Just a tip. Walking to town. Google will have you walking 1.5 miles back out of the development. But, if you go left out of the condo, walk to the end of the driveway, cross the green/fairway, you'll be on a main road that takes you directly to town, cutting a mile off the Google directions. Enjoy.
