We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront cottage in Elk Rapids! The location is perfect with stunning views of the lake, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring. The cottage was clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The host was fantastic—communication was quick and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would love to return in the future! Highly recommend!

This house is a great place to stay. We will be back for sure. We have friends and family that live near by. Fenced yard was perfect for our fur baby. This place was super clean. Updated. We had a lovely stay at Larissa's place! The location is perfect - it's within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and a grocery/ general store. The hot tub was clean and secluded. Larissa was great with communication and instructions.

My now husband and I booked Anna's beautiful cottage for the few days leading up to our big day, and for the week after. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, private, cozy, beautifully organized, thoughtfully designed home for the week and a half we were there. The fireplace in the sunken living room became our favorite spot - not a night went by that we didn't sit down with a glass of wine and just enjoy the space. The furniture was comfortable, clean and of course, impeccably curated. Every room in the home has thoughtful details, down to the brass switch plates. We fell in love with the area, and the privacy that came with being in the secluded wooded setting during peak Fall color. We couldn't more highly recommend a place to stay, and we hope to be back many times in the future.

We stayed for a long weekend right before the holidays. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. Between the sunsets, fresh snow, beautiful views and the quietness of the neighborhood.. it was unforgettable. We especially loved the hot tub as it got below 10 degrees outside, it was much needed! Fully stocked with supplies you may need. Easy access into town. Honestly, it was so hard to leave but we cant wait to come back. High recommend!!!

This was a great place, the beds were super comfy. Had everything we needed. Slept 8 people comfortably. Only recommendation, there are a lot of light switches, labeling them may be helpful but we figured it out anyhow. It was about 12-15 mins drive to downtown Petoskey.

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

Very clean, cute and cozy cottage with way better-than-average amenities! Great shower. :) We were there in the winter, but I can imagine the location in the summer would be ideal with awesome proximity to the best beach in town. Would definitely love to stay again.

This was our 5th stay at Sherri’s cottage, and I still have to rave about it! Every time we stay I appreciate how clean it is, cozy, how nicely it is decorated, Sherri’s attention to detail. It’s just the best! This time she had a Christmas tree 🎄 up and greenery to decorate. The fireplace is great, the wood was stacked beside it and ready to use. We had a lot of snow, but we were warm and comfortable. My husband actually cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal! Highly recommend this cottage, we always look forward to the next time!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We love the location and used this as a home base to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Leland, Traverse City and Boyne Mountain. The house was exactly what we needed! Everything was wonderful and they had everything we could need. Any time we had a question she responded quickly. I would absolutely recommend staying here and believe we will be back!

We had a wonderful time in Charlevoix! The house was perfect for two people plus a dog! The backyard was amazing and private, and the location was perfect to walk downtown and through the neighborhood. Oksana was very helpful and friendly, we loved the fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, and recommendations of nearby places to go. We’re hoping to come back again. Great place!

Nikki’s cottage was super clean, cozy, and had all my spouse and our two Labs needed for a visit over Thanksgiving weekend. The dogs had room to romp outside (and more with romping at the dog park in town). The cottage is just off the road, but there was little traffic so it was quiet and the trees created privacy. We were happily surprised that someone plowed the driveway and shoveled the front steps after it snowed. We’d stay again because of its location (private, walkable road, close to a park with a small beach) and how easy it was to have our dogs there, but the bed was too soft for us and that made it hard to sleep well.

Our family loved our stay. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. This is a very clean, and well kept, place that I would highly recommend for those looking for a peaceful getaway. It was extremely accommodating for our two year old as well.

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

Our weekend was wonderful, could look down street and see the lake, walking 5 minutes to shore to see spectacular sunset! Walking trails also 5 minute walk, at McSauba forest and dunes were beautiful! The cottage was bigger than I’d expected and very cozy! There were snacks, Cherry Republic treats, coffee, firewood for the outdoor campfire and we enjoyed them all!! Hospitality and comfort here is the best I’ve ever experienced with AirBnB!

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.
