I can’t say enough about this home, or Kate. There was nothing that wasn’t communicated to us ahead of time and we arrived to find exactly what we were expecting. The home is awesome and the location is great. From the awesome kitchen to the bedrooms and wonderful wrap around porch, the place is great and we can’t wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful time at Preston's home; it truly felt like a cozy retreat. The Christmas decorations were delightful, and he added a lovely touch with all the treats he provided for us. Preston was incredibly attentive, quickly coming to our aid when we needed help with the heater. During our stay, we took a stroll and met some lovely neighbors who were friendly and enjoyable to chat with. I wholeheartedly recommend his place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. The Cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Tucked away in a private, peaceful location with a beautiful view, yet just a short drive to all the fun and attractions in downtown Asheville. We had plenty of space, everything was spotless, and the amenities were exactly as described. We had such a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

We loved staying at Contentment Place. It was very home like with a cozy mountain atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable with high quality bedding and good pillows! The location was in a peaceful neighborhood that was quiet and restful. We loved the porches and spent time on them listening to the birds and watching elk peacefully graze nearby. The location was perfect for us. Our teenaged boys were minutes away from Cataloochee Ski Area. We explored waterfalls, antique shops, and Waynesville, all close by and convenient. At night we snuggled on the comfy high quality living room furniture with a fire lit to watch our favorite basketball team on the big screen TV. We will definitely be returning next year!

This house is incredible! The views are really unforgettable. We took full advantage of the balcony and hot tub. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. I love that all the rooms had their own full bathrooms and king beds (with the exception of the bunk bed room of course). Ashley provided a lot of helpful information and was very responsive when the power went out due to a big storm (there is a backup generator so we were fine!). We talked about making this an annual trip and would absolutely stay here again and again!
