Waterfront vacation rentals in Leeds and the Thousand Islands

Such a lovely location and beautifully decorated apartment. Enjoyed everything about it from sitting out on the deck watching birds, boats etc to firepits in the evening and walking to the local Tikki Bar for food, beverage and socializing. We found the people in this area to be the friendliest we've come across in our travels. Oh yes and the bed is heaven.

What a fabulous find! This place is in such a wonderful location. The space itself was very comfortable and cozy, clean and welcoming. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The hot tub overlooking the St. Lawrence River took everything to the next level!

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Such a beautiful spot for our “girls” weekend. Adam was so helpful and friendly. LOVE the towel warmer…what a nice surprise!

We had a great stay at Courtney's place- Location was excellent and views from the deck were amazing- It is very clean and well stocked- Downtown Clayton shops and dining are all within walking distance. We will stay here again next time we are in Clayton. Thanks Courtney !

We usually stay at the hotel this time of year, but because they didn’t have a river view room we decided to book this charming place. So glad we did! We are thinking about booking again next year. Clean, spacious , excellent amenities and terrific view that can’t be beat!

This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

Great location with good sized deck overlooking the water, walkable to everything in downtown Clayton…parking could have been a problem mid-day but otherwise ideal

Finbar was an extremely hospitable host, he was quick to make sure all our concerns were addressed and helped us with any confusions. the place was fantastic, perfect gateway to a calm and serene place. The home was perfect and would definitely visit again. 10/10

We loved staying at the river house. Beautiful view of the river and comfy accommodations. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful- even bringing over flowers for Thanksgiving. The place was nicely decorated for the season. When it snowed, they brought over some sleds for the kids. I would love to come back in the summer! Only drawbacks were that the heating was a bit uneven in the main room with all of the windows, but it warmed up nicely with a fire in the fireplace- which is a great touch. The water smells very sulphur-y, but that’s common in wells near the river. Being from the area originally it didn’t bother me too much. Thank you Cassie and Shana! We had a great time.

Our family had a wonderful experience in this house. Thirteen of us (including adults, kids and babies) stayed in this tranquil home with beautiful views of the lake. It was spacious and comfortably hosted our thanksgiving meal.

The rental is titled: Idyllic Waterfront Home...and it lives up to it's name!! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is it! It's exactly as pictured and described, so there's NO surprises or "if I had known before I booked" statements necessary. The home itself is beautiful and well equipped with everything your are going to need to enjoy rural living. Erik and Liseanne had thought through everything a visitor/guest will need to prepare a variety of meals (not just breakfast). The kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, cookware, cooking utensils, dishes, and a large variety of pantry/cooking staples. As a result, your meals can be as simple or complex as you want/need. The backyard is stunning and well maintained! You'll have several seating choices to just sit and enjoy the peaceful view and sounds of nature. If you don't want to be outside, you can enjoy the view & sound of the river from the house through the patio screened doors/windows. Highly recommend!!

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

This home is absolutely beautiful! Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was 'everything' we needed waiting for us. Towels, bedding, extra blankets etc. There was even extra coffee and tea and full range of cleaning products, laundry detergent, internet, everything was perfect, all we had to do was enjoy the premises and relax. The owner was very friendly, professional and helpful. Any time I text'd him with a question he replied immediately. We felt safe and comfortable and at peace. A beautiful tidy clean home, with a wonderful owner! I recommend this Air BnB 100% without hesitation. We had a wonderful relaxing stay. 10/10. Absolutely lovely! Great owner!

We had a great fall family getaway here. The view of the sand dunes was spectacular, the house was spacious and comfortable, and the trails in sandbanks were a short walk away. We enjoyed the waterfront backyard, and property. The house is a short drive from the amenities in Bloomfield, and was the perfect space for a relaxing getaway. We loved the space so much that we plan to re book in the near future. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a spot just outside the busier town strips in Bloomfield, Picton and Wellington. Thanks!
