Our stay at this property was made very enjoyable by many of the amenities this property offers. The pool is beautiful and the hot tub in the pool was very relaxing. We enjoyed the end of the evening around the fire pit. The house is charming and the whole property is conducive to both indoor and outdoor activities. Marisol was very attentive to our communication and replied quickly.

This is a great gem in Somerville! Super close to Somerville Birch Creek State Park and quiet neighborhood with deer!! Love the closed gate to let our dog run freely and the fire pit was awesome! Lots of extra towels and the place has been newly renovated so nice appliances and furniture, linens, etc. They listed the nearest emergency centers, restaurants, and things to do (go to Las Fuentes if you like Mexican and jumbo margs!).

My group of 6 adults stayed here for our annual trip to the Texas Renaissance Festival. It was in a great location between Austin and TRF, and we had a really easy drive to the festival in the morning. There are lots of food and grocery options around the home, which is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We loved how comfortable the house was and that everyone had room to spread out. The backyard fire pit was a nice bonus. We all agreed we'd like to book this house again next year if it's available!

We absolutely loved our weekend stay in the Eisley cottage! The location is incredible, especially during the Round Top Antique Show. The bed was SO comfortable and there was plenty of space in the cottage for us! Cutest decor and had everything we needed for our stay. Paige is a wonderful host and we’re looking forward to making another trip back!

This was the first time our family has done any type of camping and we enjoyed every minute of it. The place was set up perfectly and had such a great view. We brought our jetskis and parked them at the dock throughout the day making lake access extremely easy. We will definitely be back.

This is the perfect spot for a Round Top trip - close enough to the main drag, but enough distance to be peaceful. Truly 5-10 minute drive away from all the antiquing things and just a few minutes drive into downtown. Nancy and her family were so responsive and helpful and made great recommendations to us for the antiques show, which can be overwhelming! The photos show a lovely home, but in person, you can appreciate all the fun little decorative touches and neat antique furniture. Spacious, quiet, and lovely. Great AC, super clean. Also, the home had great books about antiques and home furnishing and the guides for the current antique show, which was super helpful. The donkeys and chickens added to the fun!

Every now and then, life offers you a place that feels like it exists outside of time, this ranch in Cat Spring is exactly that. Pristine, peaceful, and beautifully untouched, it’s a sanctuary for the soul. The fishing was rewarding, the land felt sacred in its stillness, and the host welcomed us with genuine warmth. In a world that rarely slows down, this is a rare pocket of calm where you can breathe deeply, reconnect, and remember what matters. My wife and I first discovered this place through a YouTube video Jon B shared, and the moment we saw it, we knew we had to go. Experiencing it in person was even more meaningful than we imagined. I’ll carry this trip with me and without a doubt, I’ll be back. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! It was peaceful and beautiful. Darrell was so kind and responsive to our needs. He showed us around his beautiful property and he even let our toddler ride one of his horses for a couple minutes, which she was thrilled about. Highly recommend staying at Rockin’ Star Ranch!

Would definitely go back! Both homes were very well cared for, clean, and look just like they do in the photos. The outdoor space is great. The laundry is incredibly useful and the machines are brand new. The beds are comfortable and plentiful! Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Appliances are all in great shape. The porches are great, the fire pits are a great touch, and the pool is awesome. Great place to stay, especially if you’re looking to relax in a quiet location. Host is very proactive and responsive, but you won’t need to reach out because they have everything taken care of before you show up.

An amazing place with equally amazing hosts. Scott and Lucinda were clear, informative, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. The place was clean, well-equipped, and located in a great area, very close to downtown Taylor. I had a wonderful first impression of both the hosts and the town. Great place to stay! So many amenities are provided. Loved the various outdoor cooking options, hot tub, and pool table. So much space for everyone. The largest couch I think I have ever seen. Everything had been cleaned thoroughly. A previous review mentioned the floors being unclean, it was a build up of soap residue that a quick vinegar rinse took off. It can happen when you mop too much with certain types of soap/cleaners, it is not a lack of cleaning. Amber was super responsive and helpful! We had a minor issue that Amber helped with in minutes. The only negative is the request to not flush toilet paper that is posted in the master bathroom. Septic issues are not unusual, but for some people this could be an issue and they should know about it before booking. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it highly.

We had a nice stay! Great house! There wer many rooms and beds to accommodate 9 people. The outdoors were beautiful, very peaceful and lots of exploring to do in and aroudn the area. The games were great amenities for the kids to entertain during down time. The host was very helpful and responsive. He also recommended a variety of things to do nearby. Overall, we had a great stay!

I stayed at Randy & Kelly's unit (Mustang) with my two college kids for 5 days. The place is newly renovated with a well stocked kitchen, nice bathroom with toiletries and hair dryer, comfortable beds and great towels. There is a large screen TV with Netflix and the internet allowed me to work while I was there. The A/C works great. We felt safe when we went for walks, and my kids could take the bus to their classes. The unit was very clean and we found the check in and check out very easy. Our hosts were prompt to reply when I contacted them. When I come back to CS, I'll make sure to check if their unit is available.

David’s place sits in an idyllic location that’s peaceful & private. The home is immaculately built with impeccable design features. The beds are super comfy and the main living space is ideal for relaxing with family. Lots to explore on the property with the 4x4. We also thoroughly enjoyed our pup greeters - Gracie & Maxwell. David was very responsive when it came to our Q’s or an issue we had during our stay. Highly recommend his home. We’ll be back next year for our antiquing adventures!
