Lake house vacation rentals in Lech

Great little apartment located in a beautiful setting. Neuschwanstein Castle and surrounding lakes/hiking areas can be reached in less than 30 minutes. The apartment was clean, well equipped and located in a holiday apartment complex. In the holiday complex, cars are only allowed on the day of arrival and departure, but right in front of it there is a spacious parking space. This makes moving in the holiday village very pleasant. The check-in at the reception was very friendly and you get all the information and a small starting package (sponge, garbage bags, dish soap) directly in your hand. Hikes around the lake and on nearby hiking trails can be started directly from the holiday village. Very relaxing getaway in beautiful, quiet surroundings!

The apartment of the Abrahams is very cozy in the sun as in the rain and is beautifully located overlooking Lake Gnadensee. Now outside of the high season, it is generally rather quiet on the island. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay with many walks to the nature reserve and along the shore path right from the front door.

Beautiful house which just worked for us. Great indoor & outdoor spaces, spacious rooms and views, and an easy stroll to swim in the lake or catch the ferry to take us all round it.We all loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the flat has been done to a very high standard and is very well equipped with everything you need. Barbara was very kind and helped to make our Christmas break feel very special. We would highly recommend staying here.

The location of the house is simply unbeatable with direct access to the lake. The house offers a wonderful way to fully enjoy the nature and the lake. Overall a nice place for a relaxed getaway by the water.

Wonderful bathhouse with various fireplaces inside and outside, make the stay cozy even in rainy weather. And in the sunshine, the location with lake access is perfect anyway. Host Denise is very straightforward and likeable, and welcomed us warmly with many flowers. I'd love to come back right away.

Great place, great hosts and great area! Finally, only one regret: not having planned for longer. The accommodation is cozy, well equipped, very pleasant... Our teenagers had their floor to themselves. Kristin and Gerry are very welcoming, and leave plenty of great tips for a great holiday. The setting is quiet and very pleasant, on the banks of the Lech, with shops within walking distance. The area offers a lot of activities nearby: hikes, mountain inns, lakes for swimming or sailing, castles and sightseeing... We would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 6 days at the Fisherman’s House at the Ammersee. The house was so comfortable and welcoming, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms were cozy. All amenities were there and functioning well, including washer and dryer. Marco and the team of the Strandhotel were excellent hosts, always helpful and very friendly. Location is excellent in quiet neighborhood with short walk to the lake and is a great starting point for trips to the “Voralpenland” and to Munich. One of the best Airbnbs we have ever been to. Strongly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Had an excellent week long stay with family (3 generations). Location is excellent for walking access to train, ferry on Walensee and lift up to Flumserberg. Crossing the road requires care with little ones & elderlies, but is very manageable - even when carrying a canoe. The house is a perfect mix of modern amenities in a traditional Swiss mountain home. Extremely well equipped for eating in, and has plenty of space for kids to play and adults to relax, inside and out. Canoes and Table tennis a real bonus, BBQ too. Martin was an extremely helpful host with plenty of clear explanations in Swiss & English languages. A very enjoyable stay, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week and also our Labrador Rosa loved it. Right away from the house nice walks without a lot of cars or people, so exactly what we wanted. The way to Hergensweiler to Gasthof Post was very nice and the food there is delicious, highly recommended. Ursula and her husband are very likeable and attentive hosts, we lacked nothing. We can imagine ourselves coming back. You have your peace and space, but you are still quickly in Lindau or via Friedrichshafen and catamaran in Konstanz. After the trip to the world, we were always happy to come to our cozy house!

Beautiful, large and cozy, lovingly furnished house in a quiet neighborhood (from time to time a train passes by, but it does not bother at night). The sauna in the garden is an absolute dream, 5 people have loose space. Kitchen is equipped with all the things you could ever need. Train station is a 10-minute walk away. We felt very comfortable and would definitely return.

Another very good trip, the host Nick is very good, this is our 2nd business trip to stay in this B&B, we will come again next time because it is worth it, it is very comfortable, it is recommended by five stars!

I stayed at David’s beautiful home with four other co-workers for 12 days. The home was amazing, it had plenty of room for all of us to have our own space if needed, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The location was PERFECT! We had the lake and the community pool right at the end of our driveway!! The house is surrounded by apple orchards and was very peaceful! We went on nightly walks around Wasserburg and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets on the water. David’s house is close to Lindau and the school we were visiting on an exchange with students. We felt very safe and we all fell in love with Wasserburg/Lindau! I would definitely stay at David’s again when visiting this beautiful area!

Beautiful cottage, well equipped. The grand piano is in excellent condition. The beds are comfortable, we slept well. The lighting could be optimized. Parking is a bit tricky in the narrow parking space We felt very comfortable with the dog.

Claudia is a super sweet and strong woman. She runs the apartment all by herself and does it with a lot of love. She has a lot of ideas and places to go to. The apartment is neat and clean and the kitchen is very fully equipped. The bed sleeps well, a nice cool bedroom. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, with the frogs jumping into the pond when you walk by. It was 2 wonderful weeks that flew by. Thank you for your hospitality Claudia!

We had rented the cabin with two families with toddlers for a week and got our money's worth. The cottage has everything our heart desires and also the nearby restaurant was in particular a large playground every day with a large playground. Only the separate settlement of the final cleaning and the energy flat rate were surprised by us, since it was uncommon for Airbnb. Nevertheless, 5 stars in all, as we were able to fully enjoy the week. We will be happy to come back!
