What a wonderful stay we had! Traditional chaumière with a lovely heated and covered swimming pool. This is the first time we stay in such a generously stocked and equipped holiday home and we do travel a lot! Amazing kitchen with nothing missing! Plenty books to read for all ages! Very dog friendly too with large dog beds and blankets. Secure fencing and huge garden! Our labrador retriever did not want to leave! Valérie is a very friendly and welcoming host. Thanks for the local beer, biscuits and well stocked teas, coffees, etc...and for being so so dog friendly Hopping to be back, thank you Valérie!

We spent a very good week with our hosts. The accommodation is very well located, close to the beach and the city center of Houlgate while being quiet in a pretty subdivision. The hot tub and tranquility were a plus! Referring to this great place to stay.

We really liked this house. This is the second time we have rented it and we are very well there, everything is well organized, there is everything you need, the location is ideal between town center, beach and shops and fish port. You can do everything on foot. I recommend this house!! Thanks to Céline for her availability.

The house is great, located on a quiet street, very close to the wonderful sandy beach. There is a cozy sunny terrace, otherwise the garden rises very steeply. The pictures of the premises all corresponded to the actual condition. The whole house is very cozy, with lots of family photos and very nice personal things. The children's room is super spacious, the 2 bedrooms upstairs due to the sloping roof a little narrow but completely sufficient. Slightly disturbing was that the toilet flush was very loud in the bedrooms, but had the advantage for us that our teenagers then woke up in a timely manner:-) All in all, it was a completely successful stay for us.

With six adults and two young children, we very much enjoyed the cozy vacation home. The view over the green valley continued to enchant us. A point for improvement is the number of comfortable seating in the living room. We waged a battle with the six adults for the two twin banks. For the losers, there were two rather small chairs. Despite this improvement, it has not been able to press our mood in any way. We are Daniel and his family very grateful for the comfort of the cozy family house. We thought it was a wonderful place to ring in the new year with each other. But the house also definitely attractive for other periods of the year. So who knows, we might come back!

We do a family weekend every year on All Saints' Day. We are around 15 participants each time, and Charles's place is well suited, sinceit has 7 bedrooms. Thanks to the wood stove (wood provided), we were able to bring warmth to the veranda, and enjoy a larger living space. We would recommend this listing. Finally, Charles is a welcoming and caring host.

Atypical, charming and very well located, the Coconut Cottage is worth not only staying there but also for us to go back! Sophie is also very responsive and very nice. So my kids and I will see you soon! Olivier

Beautiful house, appealing condition of the house inside, good and quiet location walking distance to the beach. Nice place with smaller shops, utilities and restaurants. In fact, fully fitted kitchen. When problems with power were encountered, they responded quickly and remedied.

Philippe has shown himself a flawless courtesy. As for the space, it's functional, cozy, and very clean.

We had a great time at this house in Deauville with our friends! The house is spacious, well equipped and ideally located to enjoy the surroundings. Everything was as described. We visited with 2 young children and the place was perfect. There were lots of toys for the children, and useful items like cots, a baby bath, and high chairs. The place was spacious and quiet, and the kitchen was well equipped. We felt very at home and would stay again. The host was very kind and responsive to messages and checked in regularly.
