Rose and Pier’s picture-perfect villa is a stunning and convenient winter location. We thoroughly enjoyed the charming home and stunning surrounds which was easy to find from Florence and a convenient base for day trips to Chianti and broader Tuscan and Umbrian destinations. We had a couple of issues with the house (outside of the owner’s control) but even though they were travelling abroad themselves, they were responsive and had them rectified promptly. Thank you for our thoroughly enjoyable stay.

There are not words for our wonderful stay at Daniele and Barbara's house. It's a whole family affair, with both parents taking care of us and the house. You can tell they all have the kindest souls and did their best to make us feel welcome and at home even with the language barrier! The house was very clean and had a beautiful view - I've never seen a more beautiful sunrise, honestly. The driveway is steep but we made it up just fine in our 9 passenger van. It is easy to find and it is very easy to access the downtown area. There are a lot of grocery options nearby and restaurants, as well. We tried to take the train one day but couldn't find parking - just a warning if you plan to do the same (though with a smaller car, you might be fine). The house is very close to some good wineries and easy to access Greve in Chianti, which was a nice visit. The house itself had very comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and nice water pressure in the showers. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

This place is simply amazing and Simona is probably the best host you can find, she makes you feel like a family friend and not just a guest. She made quite q few recommendations (even after leaving her place) that really made a difference. The house, the restaurant, the staff, the surrounding area, the swimming pool, everything is like coming out of one of those films that makes you want to go to Tuscany, so authentic and aesthetic. All the details are carefully looked after and this place makes you feel exactly as you expect when you choose Tuscany. Thanks a lot Simona, we really enjoyed these days and we expect to come back in the future.

Absolutely wonderful stay. This place is truly breathtaking and the hospitality shown was incredible. Super comfortable bedding, very well stocked kitchen with all appliances. The attention to detail with the property is outstanding and it is so well finished, we felt lucky to be able to stay. Perfect stay, already want to visit again.

Raggiolo is one of the most incredibly beautiful and peaceful places I’ve ever been. Laura was so helpful and responsive. The view from the house and garden is spectacular.

Nice old farm house! Paolo was very friendly, even though our Italian is not too good. Note that Google knows "Agriturismo Pian di Maggio", so navigate there! The house has no house number, so searching for the listed address gets you to the correct (but long and mostly uninhibited) road ;)

We spent a wonderful few months in Meinolf's apartment. The house and its surrounds are even more beautiful than the photos. It is on the upstairs level of a beautifully restored stone farmhouse, with amazing views of the valley, olive groves, and the centro storico of Perugia perched on the hilltop. It is close enough to town to hear the bells ring from the churches, but far enough from roads to feel that you are in the countryside. We came without a car and took buses everywhere, which was manageable, but not easy. Do not underestimate the challenge of the walk into town (30-45 mins depending on where you want to go), or to the bus stop (15 mins), both of which are up very steep roads. Meinolf is a most wonderful, generous and kind host who will go out of his way to make your stay comfortable, but will also give you the space to feel at home. He is excellent company, a font of excellent stories, very welcoming and fun with kids, and was also very caring when we needed help.

This small old house in the 12th-13th century medieval village is tastefully furnished and excellently equipped. We think the two bathrooms are a big bonus, it was very useful for us. In addition, we would highlight the equipment of the kitchen and the quality of the bed mattresses.The host lady lives right next to the accomodation, a few steps away, which gives security. She was very flexible and patient with our late arrival. You can only park a little further from the house, but it seemed safe and a short walk would not hurt.Overall, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic stay.
