As always a lovely stay in Amalie's house in Loix. A pretty house with private and sunny outside space - always spotlessly clean. Great walks in the marshes. Very highly recommended.

Very Quiet Neighborhood. Friendly welcome. Easy to maintain house. Terrace and garden access very easy if you have a dog. Not overlooked. Good bedding. Small supermarket 5 minutes by car and accommodation close to La Rochelle.

Stay close to my activities of the week, easy and free parking, which is a rare commodity in La Rochelle. Independent accommodation with independent entrance, well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, many electrical outlets and above all very clean and quiet apartment. Robert gave many tips, flexible check-in time, easy contact. In short, everything was perfect, I spent 2 nights there for a great stay. I would recommend Anita and Robert's place especially to people who come by car (always this parking lot). I did not test but the Laleu district is well served by bus lines, so it is convenient even if you are not by car. Another big thank you to Anita and Robert.

excellent stay for a week in this nice spacious house, very quiet, well located, very well equipped with a nice terrace for meals and comfortable sunbeds. very nice stay. Very nice typical Rethaise house, tastefully decorated. The house is anything but cold and impersonal; it feels like home. This is a house that has a soul and is perfectly equipped. Hélène has always been very responsive and accommodating with the check-in and check-out time. Allison who welcomed us, was perfectly attentive throughout the stay. I would recommend this place and hope to be back soon!

We have just spent a week, July 2024, a family of 12 plus a baby, at this very beautiful house. There is everything and more you could ever need. It is quiet. It is a beautiful area and the village has a beautiful bakery and supermarket. The beach is approx 15 mins by car. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved it. The kids played tirelessly in the beautiful big pool. The house has cots, high chair and even toys for the children. It was my 60th birthday and my family organised a local private chef (Manu chef a domicile) to cook for us, recommended by Will and it was amazing. We picked up hire cars at the train station also recommended by Will. The whole process was more than easy. We had the best time and would highly recommend to a large family. We hope that this is not the last time we stay at this stunning house and hopefully not our last time in La Rochelle. Holiday blues are real when you’ve visited such a beautiful place 😊

Brilliant, modern, clean, close to La Rochelle/ Isle de Re - Local area has good shops and restaurants, 5 mins drive to Big SuperU - 10 mins walk to the seaside and a lovely beach walk - head for La Plomb great if you want amazing fresh seafood. Back to the House, amazing swimming pool, heated and in an excellent sun-trap area, shower was V. hot and powerful, beds are excellent, lovely and dark at night - so much room everywhere - Kitchen has everything you need with a super fridge and easy to use oven. Media all excellent (two lounges and two TV's) and Netflix available. Very secure, Verisure Alarm system fitted and easy to use. Visit Isle de Re, The Bunker Museum, Aquarium, Cognac Tasting at Chateau de la Peraudiere (20 mins drive) Fantastic Tour. 2 Hour Walking Tour of La Rochelle - Super...an excellent holiday

Débora welcomed us extremely well in her small studio. It is a pied à terre ideally located on the seafront, close to shops and the beach. It's small but it has everything you need for a night, and what about the view! We'll be happy to go back!

We had a very nice weekend at Ile de Ré. This home is most suitable for a big family. With us, the group consisted of 10 adults and two dogs. All the rooms are spacious and cozy with beautiful sanitary facilities. The eat-in kitchen is a very cozy space where a kind of outside feels inside. A particularly bright generous space with a very well appointed kitchen. All basic necessities (spices, oil, etc.) are available, which we found very pleasant. You can feel right at home here. The location is very convenient to driving to, parking and walking to the harbor. We started the morning with half an hour laps 😊 in the heated swimming pool. We, like our children, enjoyed the house and we highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay and especially good place if you have little ones with stacks of space and an enclosed outdoor space. Washing machine was a bit tricky for us but this may have been us rather than the machine. Christiane was very responsive and helpful. Great place.

impeccable accommodation with a very welcoming host! I recommend it!

We have been coming to the Ile de Ré for 47 years and know many houses. We particularly liked the house in Les Portes. It is almost directly on the sea (3 minutes), has enough space even for a larger family (we were six people, a room for two more people was still available), the kitchen is super equipped, the living areas are also spacious and distributed for eight people in such a way that you can also get out of the way. We especially liked to use the conservatory. The two garden areas in front of and behind the house are large, also our dog was able to move freely, as the property is completely walled or provided with a fence. We were there for four weeks and will be happy to come back. Even better would of course be to go on the Ile de Ré and stay there permanently. This house would be suitable for this.

A truly wonderful home in an idyllic location. Sandra’s home is perfect for a large group with all the things you could wish for and a stunning outside/pool area. 2 minute walk to the beach.
