Stay at Rahuls was exceptional, the only problem was not long enough. Rahul has pored his heart and soul into renovating this house. It feeling extremely luxurious and like a home not a hotel, with the luxury’s of a hotel. I was given a delicious welcome drink of watermelon juice on arrival. The bed is so comfortable and has luxurious linens and beautiful aesthetic’s. The place feels privet and warm. I was able to enjoy the rooftop yoga space to undertake my daily routine and there is a lovely cafe in the courtyard downstairs within the property. I will most definitely be returning and highly recommended and encourage anyone wanting to spend time in Thamel to check it out. Location is perfect and calm with all the action 2-3mins walk away. I really loved everything about this place. It was a real, authentic Nepalese/Newari experience staying here. The apartment was spacious and clean, and it’s surrounded by temples, friendly locals and plenty of stores and restaurants. Panchaku, located next door, was my personal favourite. Niroj, the host, was attentive and helped me with any issue. I was also able to do laundry for free. I’d highly recommend it.

All the host are great. Will treat you as a family, made some new friends here. They have different activities throughout the week, if you are coming without a plan, it will best for you. The stay is confitable, neat and clean, better than expensive hotels. Experience yourself. Highly recommended, whenever I will be in Nepal, I Will choose this place.

We had an amazing 6-week of stay at Bhairaj’s place! He is extremely responsive and accommodating as a host. Not only he got us an extra fan, he also adjusted the breakfast provision according to our daily schedule. The place is self is well located (right next to the best mall in the city and nearby many restaurants), and the interior is simply beautiful. I strongly recommend Bhairaj’s place if you are planning for a relatively long-term stay!

Since we were there mostly just to sleep it was truly a great location - accessible and walkable everywhere. For the most part, we explored from morning to night and so we were always on the go and coming back in the night to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the location is centrally located so that made it a good choice. Whenever we needed anything all I had to do was ask for it from the front desk. Overall a great stay in a great location!

Communication with Jennifer was super fast and easy. We arrived earlier than expected. We got offered thee and the room was ready after 15 min. Breakfast is very nice, it’s a hip western style breakfast. Plenty of choice. We LOVED the garden. Such a nice hidden gem in Kathmandu

Keshab and his whole team were very friendly and welcoming, full of useful information, and very helpful in organising taxis and our bus to Chitwan. Very much enjoyed my stay at Royal Astoria. We were welcomed by the host as we arrived and we were very much looked after during our stay. Nagendra was also very accommodating and patient as our plans had changed last minute. The listing description is accurate, the hotel + rooms were cosy and very clean. The hotel location is a little difficult to find as it's off the main road, so make sure your driver/taxi knows where they are going. Aside from that I don't have a bad word to say about my stay here.

Definitely worth it. Perfect location, a few min walk to central Thamel so that the noise there won’t disturb as much. Welcome drinks were offered and the staff delivered our heavy bags to our room. The room was very clean and comfy. Breakfast offered by the restaurant downstairs was by far the best we’ve had in kathmandu with the best price! Everything turned out to be more than expected!

We really liked to stay here. It is very clean, with a very good bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The location is awesome and very central. The staff is very nice and helpful and we felt very welcome there. Downstairs is a Bar with a life band every evening. Of course you can hear them upstairs but Thamel is a noisy place so we didnt mind at all. We had some nice evenings at the bar. Thank you very much !

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and served Nepali tea. Ramhari and his whole family who own the hotel are all extremely passionate about making sure everything is perfect for the guests. The room was big and the bed was super comfortable. There’s a small frig and electric tea kettle in the room. The room was clean and breakfast was great! The location was perfect for exploring Thamel but tucked away and quiet. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here when I visit Kathmandu again.

Definitely a must stay! The price is great for space provided. Its your own home away from home. Their instructions were clear and were very tentative to my arrival. It was a great stay, I highly recommend. If only Airbnb supported emojis for reviews, it would be unicorn, heart, sparkle. This place is great and will def be staying here in the future.
