Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lawrence County

Peaceful and private, it was the perfect place to stay a night and get good rest while we were passing through. ♥️

Family of 5 with little kids traveling to visit family in Huntington. This home was private, spotless, and intentionally furnished. Especially enjoyed having grocery across street, Starbucks, and making a simple breakfast and playing card games as a family. The kids loved the bunk beds and the king sized bed was luxe. Having two bathrooms was so helpul to allow everyone space and privacy to get ready. Quick access to 1-64 to get anywhere fast. Terri is very responsive and considerate. The girls keep asking to go back to the “sugar shack” and we can’t wait until the next family visit.

Rhonda was a great host! She was very responsive and showed great hospitality. The house was easy to reach with the directions she provided. I would recommend this to anyone!

This farmhouse is 10 minutes from a main shopping area of a small town.The roads are easy to drive state routes, the directions clear.There are scenic views of woods, fields and barn lots, with other small houses at a short distance.The house is well laid out for multiple guests.Easy temp controls.There is easy flow between the kitchen and dining room, a wide doorway into the living room.2 bedrooms down with bath, 3 bedrooms up with bath.There are sleeping options in the basement on a queen futon, and on living room couches.Multiple comforters and couch throws.The bath linens are color coded.Lots of towel racks/hooks! The decor is lovely, the furnishings cozy and comfortable.The mattresses are very good. Everything spotless, including the basement recreation room with books, DVDs, WII system/accessories, ping pong. Washer/dryer.Great kitchen, completely equipped cookware, serving items, a small microwave.Outdoors- 2 spaces, both with firepits/seating. Carport, lots of parking.

Garrett home was phenomenal, it was so warm and cozy. I booked the home thinking we would have terrible snow storm and it would be close to my job we never got the snow but I was in walking distance to work so I took the opportunity to walk. The neighbor feels safe. Loved the yellow door and the claw foot bathtub was amazing. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was very useful. Garrett and his staff answered me in a timely fashion. I have been looking to maybe move closer to my job in Huntington so this was like a trial to see if I would like it well I loved it. I can see myself living somewhere in Huntington now after this. I also can see myself renting this gorgeous home once again. I hated to pack up and leave there today because it was so cozy and I just felt at home. My family was supposed to come also but they ended up staying home so it was only my son and I and the 3rd bedroom was not even unlocked or used. Paul's lodge at Circle T was the perfect place for my family's hunting excursions. Paul was super helpful, friendly, and punctual. He had answers for any and all inquiries I had. We plan on making an annual trip to this hidden gem. We are grateful for the memories we made there as well as the ones to come. Thanks again Paul!

Loved our stay at this cute place! Comfy beds, comfy couch. Extra fuzzy blankets, plenty of towels. Big kitchen was nice!

McKayla was so helpful, sweet, and quick to reply! Everything was so tidy, spotless, and beautifully decorated. She supplies many items you may need, already inside the Airbnb— such as laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, a laundry basket, cooking utensils, k-cups for coffee, baking ingredients, towels, makeup rags, candles, and the TV even has Netflix. I was worried about it being too cold inside, but the space heaters and electric blanket really warm the place up! I even got too hot a couple of times & had to adjust accordingly. All in all, I felt at home and adjusted easily, and I would absolutely recommend McKayla as a host!

Wonderful little getaway!

I stayed here for one month, and it was worth it. The washer and dryer were very convenient. It was stocked with shampoo, bodywash, conditioner, and kitchen supplies. It also came with a water purifier which came in handy. The hosts were helpful and always ready to help if you need it.

Nikki and Andrew’s place was cozy and nicely decorated. It was perfect for my husband and me. I am a big Marshall fan, so we felt right at home with the Marshall theme within the home. The shower was wonderful and much appreciated after a long day. The code on the door made entering and exiting a breeze. The house was very clean and I appreciated having a washer/dryer in the unit.

If you’re looking for a secure, quiet, private and cozy spot to stay for the night-this is the place! Host is very friendly, very informative and makes things very easy for you to check in and check out. I would def stay again.

The location was good, quiet and I was able to walk my puppy outside. The mattresses were good and not too soft like many other places I've stayed. We wi'll definitely stay here again!

I can't express how much I loved this place! It looked just like it did in the photos. It was a really beautiful spot. Met Thomas upon my first arrival and he was very friendly and let me know that I was free to reach for whatever. Thankfully I had no issues or concerns, so I didn't need to reach out. Bit of advice though, watch your step as you're leaving the apt. Almost took me out a couple of times haha.

Diamond was the best host, over the top in every aspect. The beds were very comfortable, the view is terrific. I came out with 4 co-workers for 2 weeks. We rent air bnb’s across the country and this was the best we’ve stayed at.

We have had the most perfect Christmas and New Year’s Eve at this air b&b. I had not one complaint. This place is beautiful, comfortable, spotless and we couldn’t pass up on the price. Even came with amenities I didn’t even know I needed until I got there (can’t sleep without a fan). We couldn’t have asked for better hostess. Diamond and Lisa are very welcoming, friendly and informative. Looking forward to visit it again! Thank you!!

Our accommodations were great. The owners could not have been better for their quick response to our questions and coming to our rescue when we locked ourselves out. The location was convenient to downtown, however our only comment about the location was that it was within a block from a shelter for homeless people and we did not feel comfortable walking on that block at night. However, we drove our car to a convenient parking garage downtown instead.
