We (a family with a young daughter) stayed four nights at Sebastiano’s place and had a wonderful time. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, very spacious (even larger than expected from the photos), and the balcony and terrace offer stunning views of Lake Lugano. Gandria is a charming, picturesque village with a few nice places to eat. The bus and boat stations are just a short walk away, and there are lovely paths for hiking and strolling. We don’t have a car and got around entirely with public transport — it takes a little planning but works very well. Sebastiano was a great host — very easy to communicate with and proactive, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

Martin and Nadja were very welcoming and friendly hosts. The house is immaculate, newly refurbished and very clean. Lovely location by the lake and just a couple of minutes’ walk to the ferry. Delicious food at local restaurants and cafes recommended by Martin and Nadja. Thank you for our lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay as a family of five with a dog in Gavirate. Our toddlers were able to play safely in the garden and we made great excursions (Lake Varese, Lake Maggiore, in the nearby forest). Matteo was a good host, friendly in communication and always available. Gladly come back.

Very good stay at Rossana and Roberto's. The apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped (good quality bedding too). Quiet while having quick access to areas to visit. Absolutely beautiful view!!! And for access by car to the rental: yes it is narrow on the last few meters but quite feasible. A big thank you to Rossana for our exchanges: always very friendly messages and always available if needed.

We spent NYE at Nathalie's place, and it was simply magical. The apartment is wonderful, and that view breathtaking, especially at sunrises. Natahlie has been an amazing host, we did not have a car, and she came picking us up at Arona and drove us to the apartment. Superb experience, highly recommended!

Porta Rossa: The cozy retreat

If you walk to Porta Rossa, it's like going into a little fairytale world. Resiga is small and homely, with many alleys, plants, and no matter where you look, you discover something new on every corner. The apartment is located in a very old house and lovingly furnished, a highlight is the romantic courtyard. There is plenty of parking either directly on the lake or slightly up the mountain (each about a 3-minute walk incl. Stairs). The location is very quiet, the equipment perfectly sufficient and the bed very comfortable. There were even heatable in the beds for the cold autumn nights. You can quickly reach the region around Intra by car from where many ferry connections leave, a pizzeria is within walking distance. Birgit was always accommodating and easily accessible. We were very happy to immerse ourselves in the fairytale world of Resiga and highly recommend it to everyone! :)

Had an unforgettable stay. The house is spacious, has everything you need, an extremely well-equipped kitchen, several balconies from which you could look into the beautiful valley and enjoy the fresh mountain air. We were there with 3 families including 4 children and it was a wonderful stay. The villa still exceeds the expectations you have through the photos. There are countless touches designed with a lot of taste and knowledge. The age and size of the villa mean that individual items are always broken, which did not disturb us. The Park is huge. In the edge areas of the park and at dusk you need a good mosquito spray. There are many small deciduous frogs in the meadow. Karim was a really warm and helpful host. He knows the history of the house in every detail and is a very entertaining and fun conversationalist.

We had a very nice vacation at Maria Antonietta's. We were very warmly welcomed and even the fridge was filled. The apartment is nice and offers plenty of space, the bed was also comfortable. The courtyard is great, you have direct access from all rooms - and our daughter was very happy about the slide :).

We loved our stay at Sweet Lake! The apartment is newly renovated and nicely furnished, it was super clean and has comfy beds and linens. Marco was very friendly and helpful, and answered any questions we had. The location was great for us, very quite and yet close enough to the lovely downtown of Omegna and the public beach.

We are delighted with our stay during the New Year's period, with the added bonus of fireworks all around the lake visible from the terraces of the house! Catalda is welcoming and hosted us very well. The house is impeccable and well arranged. Nothing is missing.
