Love this place. Great location off Ballenas beach. Quiet (most of the time), peaceful and comfortable. Pretty outdoor area, with a warm pool and colourful vegetation. Kitchen is fully outfitted, and easy to use. Good beds and lots of seating inside and out. Property manager and regular staff (cleaner, pool and gardeners) all friendly and efficient. The owner is responsive and helpful, and communication was easy. We’ve stayed here before and have already booked for next year. A great choice… you’ll be happy here!

In a word-delightful! We had such a wonderful stay at Isabel’s gorg home. The property, with lounge area and perfect sized pool and super private surroundings made for a perfect getaway. House caretaker, Udi, met us when we arrived and made us feel immediately at home. We took at 5 minute walk to grab dinner and a cocktail-perfect! 5 minute walk to beach, restaurants, and delicious cappuccinos. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms are gracious. Isablel was helpful in arranging transport from airport too! We felt safe and secure with the 24 hour friendly security staff in the complex and left well rested. What a great trip. Thank you!

Mike and Anyelo were fantastic! They helped me arrange a taxi for both my arrival and departure, as well as a 4x4 rental. The beach is just a quick 2–3 minute walk away. The local restaurants were good, but if you have transportation, I highly recommend exploring the eateries in El Centro del Pueblo and the hidden gems that feel like dining in someone’s home—those were a real treat! Playa Ballenas is just a 10-minute drive away. In my opinion, Punta Popy is even better, but there are some nice restaurants near Playa Ballenas as well. On my last day, we spent time at Playa Ballenas and had a wonderful meal right on the beach. Overall, a great experience—I highly recommend staying here!

A very cozy and beautiful place, it has everything you wanted to spend a few days relaxing. There are different beaches close by and very nice. The only aspect to improve is the entrance to the place (like 30-40 meters) as it is a road that is very run down and with the rain it has a lot of mud. Otherwise excellent, I recommend it

We had a fantastic time in Las Terrenas ( Casa Luna ) - super private , nice accommodations and the staff is fantastic. The pool and hot tub are the center of the property - The kitchen and main room open up to a large covered porch with a oversized table for breakfast/ lunch / dinner- the lightening and feel of this property is a vibe. We used every inch of the property which is well maintained. The house keep IRIS showed up everyday, the pool man came every other day and the grounds keeper kept busy. Just the right amount of staff w/out being overbearing. We did use the chef 3 x out of the week - **Keep records of what the chef buys at the store to make sure there is no mis-understanding. Sacha who manages the property will help you with any questions you may have , he was on point and has the answers to your questions. The house is not on the beach - 100 yards out of the back gate down a nice path - Great spot, multiple restaurant options w/in walking distance. Enjoyed!

Great Villa and good communication with the owner

Fabulous home. Pool was wonderful. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked great when needed. Electricity wasn’t as expensive as we thought. Area was nice and safe. Host-Valerie was very responsive and helpful. 6 minutes walk to the beach. But the best part about the trip was Maria and her traditional Dominican home cooked meal. Wow! Make sure you do this at the first of the trip because you’ll want her to come back and do it again. It was amazing. Make sure you get the fish in coconut sauce. Delicious!!!

Wonderful stay, the villa has exceeded our expectations, we have been on rare occasions in Sublime, but Mario's house has been like being at home. We are very grateful for your attention and hope to stay with the family again, to highlight how spacious the rooms and the covered terrace stand out. We are very happy and recommend it to everyone.

We had a great stay at Fieke's house. It's across the street from a great beach and just down the street from the town of Terrenas. Really nice pool. Great staff that took good care of us.

The cooks Joséphine and Humfessa were truly kind and the meals were delicious and in more than enough quantity. We had the privilege of accompanying Joséphine for the races. Very nice. The place was easily accessible and so beautiful. We felt very professionally cared for. I would recommend it to any family. Only negative point: the restaurant nearby was noisy on Fridays and Saturdays. But we'd go back.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Sabina! The space was beautiful—our family spent most of our time enjoying the pool and patio, and dining in the outdoor kitchen. The common areas made it easy for us to be together and truly soak in the setting. Jacques, the property manager, was fantastic. He took care of all the logistics for us, including airport transfers, ATV rentals, and taxis for excursions, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The real highlight of our trip was the amazing care from Josefina and Confessora. Their home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious—so much so that we only ate out twice and regretted it both times! They kept our rooms spotless and made us feel completely at home. The pool was immaculate and maintained daily, and the private walkway to the beach was a daily favorite. The local community was warm and welcoming, and the gated property felt very safe and well-kept. We would absolutely return. This place was a dream!

Had the pleasure of staying at Arnaud’s beautiful home and it was an unforgettable experience. The property itself was stunning and served as ideal for bonding with my friends I hadn’t seen in a long time. Despite being in a quiet area, it was just a short distance from everything we needed. Arnaud was exceptional – responsive, kind, and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made a difference and added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to all the amenities of Las Terrenas.

This is the second time that I’m staying in one of Nicole’s villas and I can tell that I had an amazing experience. From the decoration all the way to attention to details everything is thoughtful! Highly recommend host and place.

A number of things were remarkably good for us - our Christmas Eve dinner at Mosquito at Porto (I think that’s what it’s called), a great restaurant which is closeby; there was a lot of bustle in town in Terrenas, but just beyond Playa Bonita offered a different vibe and is a lot of fun; the availability of other local excursions and renting a fun Polaris; the easy walk to the beach from the house; the pool and garden with its bbq grill; being able to order from the Bodega; a friendly and accommodating housekeeper. The house was also very attractive and well maintained and equipped, and extremely comfortable for our group. Emanuel Marte is a great host and was readily available before and throughout our stay.

Eight of us had a fantastic Christmas in this beautiful home just a short walk to the beach. The space is open and modern, with ample seating areas, lovely decor (lots of white) and comfortable bedrooms freshened by ever-whirling ceiling fans. The pool was clean and inviting, the outdoor lounge chairs had wheels so we could rapidly zip out of the rain or turn to face the sun, and towels were replenished daily (we had no idea daily housekeeping was included - what a luxury!). Max helped us arrange for absolutely everything in advance - round trip transfer from the airport, quad and scooter rentals, grocery shopping and a (darling) chef for every dinner. He was always instantly available via text to answer questions and offer recommendations or advice and he couldn't have been friendlier!! With four days of rain, we did not explore as much as we'd have liked, but the accommodations and truly pleasant interactions with Max and staff allowed us to RELAX and enjoy the down time regardless!

Me and my family loved this villa. The walk to the beach is within a few minutes. Literally feels like you have a private beach. We were welcomed by the cleaning lady. She was great! The villa is super safe and easy to get around. I would definitely recommend to stay here. The only thing one of my guest didn’t like was that the cleaning lady came at 9am to clean on check out day. I understand it’s a big villa and she had to get it ready for the next booking. Overall a great place. Thank you for having us! If you are driving be careful pulling into the curvy driveway :) also keep in mind most restaurants, places to eat are 10-20min drive from the villa

To start, this is the most BEAUTIFUL Airbnb and the location is perfection. The house is impeccably decorated with a warm and welcoming vibe. We loved the peacefulness, open air breezes, beautiful gardens, ocean views, and walking directly into the warm ocean. Betty is the most gracious and helpful host we have ever encountered. Not only did she make recommendations, but set up our excursions, taxis, chef for the week (Fernando’s food is to die for), a beach dinner for our last night, etc. She and her staff go above and beyond to ensure you never want to leave! The house manager and caretaker ensured we felt right at home, including picking fruits for our kids and cooking squash for an upset tummy! The town is a quick taxi ride away and we loved the authentic and non-touristy vibe of Las Terranas. The people are warm & friendly and we felt safe everywhere we went and felt safe with our kids (9, 7, & 6) running around on the beach. Truly a magical vacation!

For starters, thank you Emanuela for hosting us at your beautiful Villa. The Villa was more beautiful in person, immaculate, and it came with delicious complimentary breakfast. Any questions or issues were addressed immediately. She even brought us Champagne on New Year’s Eve. Which I must say, what a view to watch the fireworks from the top of the mountains and bring in the New Year! Guillermina, the cook was AMAZING! We paid her extra to cook dinner and the food was spectacular. She was accommodating, happy to service us and never rushed us. My family felt super comfortable around her!! Another point to mention, the morning view while drinking coffee and at night the stars were so visible! We highly recommend Villa Sunrise and we will be returning!
