This home was truly magical and unique. Soraya was so incredibly helpful and accommodating. Always responded and kept us in the loop. Alejandro & Janet went above and beyond for us. The windows do have gaps, and insects will get in. However it wasn’t a big deal. Yes, a 4x4 is ideal unless you have a quad or motorcycle. We saw howler monkeys many times. If you get a chance to experience this home, get on it!

We had a lovely 10 night stay here in the quiet and beautiful area. Wonderfully kept place with amazing hand-made wooden furniture. If you enjoy having a morning smoothie, the blender works great and the local grocery store has many options for frozen fruit or vegetables. Lucy and her husband were very attentive and we appreciated their communication. We highly recommend the use of an ATV for this home and surrounding areas. We loved being able to use the surf rack and found it easy to navigate around town. Taking a day trip to Montezuma from this home is easy and we enjoyed the flexibility we had with the ATV. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend to all looking for a beautiful and private place to call home for a short or long time!

This Montezuma property is amazing. Bedrooms were so comfortable and everything was clean. The caretaker and the housekeepers were amazing, so nice and always very helpful and gave us privacy. Karen was amazing as well, very responsive to texts and checked up on us to make sure everything was ok. I’ve been to Costa Rica 3 times ands this trip by far was the best. We look forward to coming back again

This is one of the best (if not the best AirBNB) we have ever stayed in. It’s even better in real life than the pictures. It’s a beautiful place in a beautiful spot with a wonderful atmosphere and amenities. It sits high up from the main Santa Teresa road and is completely private… it’s a great place to laze and relax in the heat of the afternoon sun between beach and town visits in the morning and evening. Mike’s property manager Lars was great… he helped us with all our questions and was always on hand to assist us. You need a 4x4 to get up to the property but that doesn’t hinder the experience. All in all… a STUNNING place and I can’t recommend it enough.

We really enjoyed our stay . Noelia, who met us and checked us in was such a wonderful wealth of knowledge and she gave us endless information and helped us book some trips. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly want. Linens and towels are great and plentiful! The outside space is wonderful with the pool and loungers overlooking the ocean. To get to the beach you walk down some small hills and then to return you need to go up those same hills. Not a problem for us as we love hiking and we saw soooo many monkeys on the walk. Loved walking to the beach. The ocean was not swimmable as it was muddy and murky from the rains and the rivers dispensing into the ocean. That was a negative for us as we love to swim in the ocean. The restaurant is absolutely AMAZING!!!! The only negative was the amount of motorbikes going up and down in front of the house all day long. Definitely disrupted the peace and quiet but we got used to it. Would stay again. Raj was great

Our stay at Casa Selvas was amazing. The view is breathtaking, one of the best you can get in the area ! The house is so beautifully decorated and clean. The concierge was very responsive and all our requests were dealt with in no time. We would definitely come back !

Loved staying at Carlie’s place ! Carlie was super friendly and quick to respond. Santa Teresa as a town sometimes has water shortages and black outs and Carlie was very helpful. She left us a big container filled with water we could use , and when light was back she helped us set the internet back again. I also want to highlight that the place was fully equipped with cleaning essentials for the kitchen which is always super nice to have.

We really enjoyed having such a beautiful home base from which to explore the region!

This is our second time staying, I will not change my mind I love Elizabeth’s place!! It’s truly paradise on earth, friendly people, easy access to the beach, if I could I would sell everything and live there!! Already planning my birthday trip back for next year. Our dog loves it too.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms are nice, private, quiet and have beautiful views of the pacific, tide pools and beach. The hosts were quick to be very helpful and accommodating. Will recommend to friends, we ended up extending our stay with the hosts, and would be happy to visit again in the future. Driveway requires 4x4 vehicle but it is not challenging and shouldn’t be difficult for most drivers.

Our stay was simply fantastic! Everything was as promised and even better. The house is exceptionally clean, especially for a location in the middle of the jungle – really impressive. The swimming pool was cleaned every two days and was a wonderful place to relax. A special highlight was the white-faced monkey (capuchin) who visited us on the terrace! We were even able to feed it with a banana – a memorable experience. The air is wonderfully fresh, and the surroundings simply invite you to switch off. A lot of praise also to the homeowner: He was very friendly, helpful and professional. He recommended many great places in the area that made our stay even more special. We can really recommend this house to anyone who wants to enjoy nature, peace and comfort. Thank you for this fantastic experience!

This was one of my best Airbnb experiences. We booked it the same day we arrived and Priscila was very proactive to make sure everything was in place for us. The apartment is amazing, well furnished, air conditioned, super clean and very cute. The terrace was very convenient and enjoyable during the long periods of rain we had. I will definitely come back to Casa Canela if I come back to Santa Teresa, this place is 5 stars all around!

Simon was very responsive (within minutes of my messages) and Alfredo the groundskeeper was also great. The home is older, but beautiful and very spacious. I really enjoy newer, more modern homes/hotels, but this was such a unique place that the age of the home didn’t bother me at all. The surroundings, the view, and the pool are the absolute gems of this property—just amazing. We had a family of monkeys that came and visited us on three of our days and we were constantly surrounded by fascinating wildlife. We also enjoyed surfing and bioluminescent kayaking excursions within 30 minutes of the home. My wife and I, along with our five adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place and very good and easy communication. Got help to arrange different things and it was just perfect. The house is not brand new you can see that it has been in use for some time, which can have a charm if you are into it and don’t expect it to be brand new. Thanks for everything we really enjoyed our stay!! The view is just AMAZING!

Viktoriya’s place is amazing! She was one of the best, most communicative and friendly hosts I’ve ever had on Airbnb. The stay is very private and secluded, it’s really nice to be away from the busy town. The space and bathroom are gorgeous. The view from the balcony is magical. It is about 15 minutes from playa Hermosa, which is a beautiful sandy beach. It is 20-25 minutes from town depending on where you want to go. We would recommend having a 4x4 ATV or SUV to navigate the road leading up to the house. The road can be very bumpy and rough.

The cabin is like in the photos, an excellent view, privacy, you can hear the animals. Everything is very nice, clean, the space is very comfortable, and cool for being open. We had everything we needed. And we'd love to come back again!

We had a fabulous stay and will highly recommend to our family and friends. Such a beautiful place with breathtaking views. Beds were comfy and the house was welcoming and extremely clean. Hosts were absolutely responsive and extremely warm and friendly. A truely peaceful escape!

Amazing location / space. The construction outside was a lot to deal with but I guess it was in the description. The highlight was the host / concierge. They were the best I had in all my travels. They set up flights, answered questions and were Fabulous!
