Kid-friendly vacation rentals in LaPorte County

Cute cottage with a great deck. It was lovely for a weekend with friends. There was plenty of parking. Host Caitlin was very helpful. Short walk to the beach- we found a set of stairs as a shortcut. Very easy check-in and check-out. We thought the backyard was fully fenced for our dogs based on the pictures, but a section of fence was missing. Not a big deal, but best to know for sure whether fenced or not when bringing dogs. Thank you for a great stay!

The house was very clean and accommodating upon arrival. Michela and Alex always responded very quickly to any questions we had and always gave us awesome recommendations on what to do to keep busy and have fun during our stay!

The house was exactly as described and had no issues with anything. We stayed for 2 nights and anything we had forgotten, there was a dollar general nearby.

We enjoyed how many bedrooms this house had. It slept a lot of people with decent privacy for everyone. We had 19 people, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty. The backyard and lookout are beautiful, and the beach is very close by! We also walked to the lighthouse one evening for a sunset.

I recently stayed at this beautiful Airbnb in Michigan City, and it was everything I could have hoped for and more! The location is absolutely stunning—just steps away from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. They provided great local recommendations for dining and activities, which enhanced our experience even further. Whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, explore the nearby attractions, or simply enjoy some quality time with friends and family, this place is perfect. I can't wait to return for another stay! Highly recommend!

This home worked very well for our group of four girlfriends in their 60’s . It was set up nice for a relaxing weekend.

Great for families. They had everything you needed for the beach which was only a short walk away. Pickle ball court a fun bonus!

Stayed for a weekend to see the Notre Dame game. Was exactly what my group and I needed. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the train and beach.

Emily, is an AMAZING host! I felt at home as soon as I walked in. The apartment was the perfect VIBE I needed for the weekend! The farm fresh eggs and coffee provided helped my mornings along greatly! Wish I was in town longer just to chill in the apartment. She was amazing to communicate with and had great local suggestion’s!

This was a great spot for a quick, one night stop in Michigan City! The location worked great, everything was comfortable, and it was just the right amount of space. This wasn't a problem for us, but be aware that there are some steep steps to get into the space.

Stayed for a weekend trip to the beach. Central location, about 5 minutes drive from Mount Baldy, and 5 minutes drive from Washington Park Beach. The suite is spotless, well decorated, and has more and better quality kitchen supplies than most AirBNB options (has a full spice rack, dishes, pots and pans, and a full knife block!). Beds were comfortable and they generously provided beach towels, bikes, 4 beach chairs, and a beach umbrella. The only negatives were that it is two blocks from a train station (as is everything else with close availability to the beach) with some early morning trains that could wake up late sleepers, and a construction site across the street- the construction noise was minimal to us, and the construction should at some point be completed. We hope to stay with Jessie again for our next visit!

We had a great stay! Regina’s place is exactly as portrayed in the pictures - very spacious, great light, fun design elements. The front entryway leaves a bit to be desired, but the inside of the apartment is fantastic. Great location right on the main strip. Felt safe, very walkable, and easy parking. Perfect home base to explore the Dunes and Michigan City for a weekend.

We had an amazing experience staying at Patti’s place! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Patti’s attention to detail made all the difference. everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided, making our stay feel like a home away from home. She truly went above and beyond to create a welcoming space. I will definitely be back and highly recommend her Airbnb to anyone looking for a top-notch experience!!!

This was a very spacious and nicely kept area, had everything I needed to enjoy my couple day trip. Very close to the shopping outlet, the beach, a couple of nice restaurants (fiddleheads was great). The hosts communicated very clearly and well, they seemed super nice (didnt get a chance to meet them in person). 10/10 place and experience :)

The decoration was stunning and it was so comfortable! The host was also super responsive and helpful and made me feel comfortable! Easy check in and if I’m ever in the area again I would love to stay again!

The place was clean and we felt at home. We stayed overnight as we visited many wineries in the area to make it a weekend trip. Directions were clear on how to arrive and check in was easy.
