Farmstay vacation rentals in Laos

We really appreciated taking the time to come here and understand Om’s vision for his organic farm and social enterprise, mixing modern agricultural knowledge with traditional methods and wisdom. It’s worth taking a trip to the second, larger, farm on the other side of the river, as well as a trip to a nearby village to get the full picture of how life works here. Om is a very inspiring social entrepreneur with excellent English, but the people who run the farm itself speak hardly any English. They are warm-hearted people and excellent cooks so I’m sure you’ll feel very comfortable. We slept very well and rose and slept with the rhythm of the sun as there really isn’t a lot else to do, which was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a rustic off-grid experience for a few days, away from the crowds of Luang Prabang, this is it.

LOVED our stay here! This Airbnb is a beautiful resort, pet of Hilton’s Small Luxury Hotels in the World. This stay is gorgeous and the highlight of the start of our trip to Laos. The manager, Carl, was very kind and responsive to our needs as well. They use an app for all communication and have excellent activities and will help you book transportation as well. We are really please with our stay and only wish we could stay longer. We’ll be back!

The yurt is really sweet, spacious, and comfortable. The area is good if you're looking to be in nature and is just a ten minute drive from the centre. The river is close by which you can swim/tube in. They have bicycles you can borrow as well. Communication is from Aurore is also excellent.

Such a kind family! They made sure we had everything we needed -- from helping with tours, feeding us, helping with our luggage, and arranging tuk tuks. The food in the restaurant is delicious!! The bungalow, less than 10 mins walking from the restaurant, was also so comfortable with a gorgeous view from the deck. Very fair price for what you get. I highly recommend staying here!! A gem. Wonderful people to connect with during your stay.

This Airbnb is around 25 minutes out of the centre which was ideal for my needs. During my stay, I witnessed some amazing sunsets and watched hot air balloons fly over the stunningly beautiful scenery. The location is ideal for visiting the Nam Xay Viewpoints and the Tham Phu Kham Cave and the adjoining Blue Lagoon. The host was very accommodating and gave me a complementary lift to and from the station.

Nouth is probably the most helpful and responsive host I’ve had on Airbnb. She picked me up when I arrived, she dropped me off when it was time to leave, she arranged a scooter to be delivered to me, and she runs a tasty restaurant on the property with good food and reasonable prices. I could even buy big bottles of water from her for the price that other places charge for a little bottle. She made everything so easy.
