Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lansing

Our stay was comfortable. The host was friendly and responsive. Cute homey touches and very clean.

We stayed here for a family holiday get together - lots of kids and grown ups. Everyone loved the place! It’s quite a big house and the way it’s set up, it never feels crowded even with a large group. Alayne has thought of everything. And it shows in how the place has these nice little touches all around that make your life easier - there’s blankets in every room, kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms are well stocked, every room has a TV! Most importantly, Alayne is an excellent host. She knows what she’s doing - she’s very responsive, answered our questions promptly, helped us with a couple of things through the trip, and had a sweet welcome basket set up for us. Everyone in the group was highly interested in booking this place again for another memorable family get together.

Alyssa’s house far exceeded our expectations! We had a Thanksgiving celebration there with our 5 grown kids, two in-laws, and 2 young grandkids. Nine of us stayed in the house, and it very comfortably accommodated us all. If you need a place to cook and actually spend time, I would not hesitate to suggest Alyssa’s place! Her kitchen is well stocked with everything you probably need as far as utensils, cookware, serving options, and basic spices, oils, etc. Alyssa is generous with towels, extra blankets, Kleenex, etc. She responded very quickly to the few questions we had. It snowed overnight while we were there, and Alyssa immediately was out shoveling and salting. When we arrived on the first evening, the fireplace was lit and a beautiful goody basket was welcomed us. Thank you, Alyssa! We hope to return at some point!

The Home Was Very Astonishing. The beautiful nature and the pond will really have you in awe. I would definitely stay here again and I’d recommend this for anyone who wants to find their inner child again.

Where do I start? I had surgery and would need assistance following the procedure. I had my mom come to town and needed to have one floor as she’s not able to use stairs well. This was the perfect place!! Everything is accessible and in one floor. My mother was comfortable and able to take care of me without having any issues. She loved the kitchen!! If she needed anything, she was able to find it! She constantly said she thought of EVERYTHING!! While thinking of my mom’s comfort, I too needed the ease of being able to move around without stairs. The 2nd bath right off the bedroom I was in was right on time!! There was plenty of space for company that came over to visit, plenty of space for flowers and cards, seating for dinner. Toys and games for my grandchildren….The list goes on!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!! Thanks Kimberly and Eric!! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, heal, enjoy and appreciate with family and friends!!

Peaceful neighborhood, clean and well-stocked accommodation with great communication. Would stay here again.

This house was so great! Great space with lots of extras: coffee, tea, candy, snacks, games, everything that we needed and more.

My family stayed at Janene’s place for my niece’s graduation from MSU. It’s perfect for a gathering of family and friends. In addition to sporting a nicely sized living room, dining room, and kitchen, the home comes complete with a chess table, pool table, lovely backyard, and basketball court also in the yard. Janene was very friendly in her communication and responsive to our needs. We enjoyed our time there.

Lynn's place was wonderful! it was so wonderful that we didn't want to leave and we tried to stay another night but she was already booked =) Super clean, quiet and peacefull!

This basement apartment was perfect for our stay while visiting our MSU daughter. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we could have needed, and the welcome snacks were perfect after a long travel day. Hubby is 6’2” and cleared the ductwork with 1/4” to spare. :) We would stay here again!

This was a rare stay in which the actual space is even better than the photos. The house was very quiet, clean, and any amenities we could have asked for were already provided. Barbara was friendly and gave recommendations for activities. The space is thoughtfully laid out and we found the post-its and labels on every drawer to be both helpful and adorable. We were here to visit my boyfriend's daughter at MSU and would happily stay again next time we visit.

My husband and I stayed here while we were in the area house-hunting and it was perfect! Easy to find, easy access to both Okemos and East Lansing, comfortable modern space. We definitely would stay again and/or recommend this unit to anyone else who is visiting the area and needs a place to stay!

We were in town for my Mothers funeral. We originally were staying at another Airbnb that wasn't able to extend our reservation. Rachel not only confirmed our new reservation within minutes, but also allowed us to go straight from check out at the other place to check in at her place without waiting around for several hours. She was also extremely helpful when we had an emergent situation with our dog, Dexter. The house is absolutely beautiful and even though you're only a few minutes outside of town it feels super secluded and private. Wonderful host, wonderful house.
