Cottage vacation rentals in Lamoille County

Great stay for a couple looking to ski at Jay Peak! The cabin was super cute and very cozy. Watching the sun set through the windows was stunning. The hot tub was very scenic and a great vibe after skiing. It’s about 10 minutes to Jay, and 3 minutes from an exceptional Asian fusion restaurant (Omakase). We’d stay there again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tea house! It was snowy and cold outside (perfect for skiing!), but the place was cozy and warm. We appreciated the French press coffee that was provided- much better than having "pods". We didn't have time to explore the hot tub and the rest of the grounds, but hopefully we will get to if we stay here again!

This place was great! Remote location with a great view, cozy atmosphere and of course a hot tub! The tvs are a great addition if you want to stay in. We also got some use out of the grill! Some amenities that we didn't get to use due to the season were the lake/water activities, fire pit, and pizza oven. But these seem like they would be fun! I would recommend an AWD vehicle or very careful driving as this is on a non-paved road. Also due to the remoteness of the cabin/water pump needs the shower is not very powerful/warm. But the hot tub makes up for that with all the warmth you need!

Beautiful and convenient location for skiing at Jay Peak. We lived there babbling brook behind the cottages and the hot tub was nice and clean. We were comfortable and had everything we needed.

The place was really nice and private! Had so much fun! A little far from society, but the area makes everything worth it

This is our second time back to the Caribe Cottage and it was as great as the first visit. We will be back again. It is worth it to us to have our own private cottage at the end of a day of snowboarding or snowshoeing. We can wake in the morning and have a nice breakfast before we head out. So clean and comfortable even through the wind, rain, and snow we experienced. The upgraded hot tub was a welcome end to the day! So peaceful and such a great escape! We look forward to coming back!

This was the best vacation I’ve had. It was just what we needed. A reset from the everyday stress. It was just what the doctor ordered lol. I absolutely recommend this location again. I talked this location up so much to my family and friends and they all would like to come back. Planning our next vacation already. Host was just amazing! We ended up getting there a little sooner and he allowed us to just enter and get settled right in. So accommodating. We barely needed to reach out because everything was set up for us. Just amazing! What a great gem! We went set out on an adventure for our daughter’s birthday and this place looked amazing and it was! It’s easy to get to. The house is stunning. Amazing for a large group with kids like us. Close to Stowe and surrounding fun places. I had to communicate with Josh and he was quick at getting back to me. We would love to stay here again!!

This place has everything you want from a cabin near Smugglers Notch. Spacious, beautiful views of the mountain, and just a 10 minute drive from skiing. Easy recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay on their ski trip or otherwise.

Loved, loved, loved Elizabeth’s gorgeous cozy cottages! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Stowe. She was a wonderful host and so sweet! :)

Kasey’s place in Stowe is a perfect location, right next to the Main Street of town. It was super easy to find, and very clean with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Was very happy with the stay. Check in was super easy. Location is great, halfway between Stowe center and the mountain resort Also very close to Von Trapp and a short 15 minute drive into Waterbury.

We wished we could stay a lot longer! We stayed for a ski trip and it was lil less than 30 min from Stowe Mountain. The house is also close to town too (-5min) for groceries and 20 min more to Stowe if you wanna eat out. Ruth was by far the best host we ever had the pleasure to meet and her place was very welcoming, cozy and pretty much had everything we need if not more. Board games, arcade basketball and sleds for entertainment. We didn't get to use the games in the basement cuz it was too cold. The place has a nice spacious backyard area for your dog to play/run around. It's not fenced but the area is private and doesn't get any of car traffic, just know that it is next to the woods. Please advised that you'll need an AWD in winter to drive up to the driveway/garage or just driving in Vermont.

Our stay at The Getaway was great. Private place, close to down town Stowe and perfect for couples. Everything was clean and the instructions were very clear. We were ~ 15min from Stowe and 1 minute from the grocery store. The Wi-Fi was a little slow and the connection was unstable, aside from that everything was great.

We had a great stay at Suncroft. The place was clean, quiet, and cozy. Would definitely stay here again!

Lisa saw that I was having a little trouble parking my truck and trailer in the driveway and reached out to me early in the morning to let me know I could park my trailer in driveway next door until Friday afternoon which made it much easier to park my trailer. Lisa gave us great recommendations on where to eat and Hanley’s general store which had a good selection of steaks and prepared foods that you can cook back at the cottage. The cottage was close to VAST trails and smuggler’s notch ski resort. We enjoyed our stay and the view out the sliding door of MT Mansfield. We will definitely be back!!!

This was a wonderful and peaceful place to stay. Such a cozy place to stay during the winter, the hottub underneath the stars was much needed after a long day! The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Linda was a fantastic host, and her home was even better than listed. The cabin was a good size for our family of four + dog; the 2 bed / 2 bath arrangement allowed for good privacy when needed. The fireplace was great for apres and winding down at night. Location is a nice mix of seclusion (off the Mountain Rd), but close to everything.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. My boys loved sledding on the hill off the front porch the most. We wished it was warmer while we were there to be able to enjoy the property more and try the snowshoes Amy was graciously willing to lend us. This is a great place to stay as a family with plenty of things to do within an hour radius. Thanks Amy!

Megan was quick to respond to our last minute getaway request and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very clean, quiet and private yet conveniently located cottage! The mattress was super comfortable (so comfortable we peeked at the tag) and we slept wonderfully our whole stay. We'd absolutely stay here again!
