A wonderful family retreat! Karl and Helen's beautiful property was the perfect place for our family to relax and reconnect before our son's birthday. Spacious and welcoming, it comfortably accommodated our large group. The pool, complete with a slide, was a huge hit with the kids, and we appreciated the extra goggles provided so everyone could join in the fun. The gardens provided a lovely space to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fantastic kitchen and BBQ area. The pool table and fire pit offered extra entertainment for all ages, creating a fun and relaxed holiday atmosphere. Beyond the great amenities, it was the warm atmosphere and welcoming hosts that made our stay truly special. We highly recommend this property for a memorable family getaway! Lovely spot, easy to find, easy parking . Beautiful old building .

Actually - I don't believe that the photos do the accommodation justice - the house is lovely - set on a hillside, allowing wonderful views of the surrounding hills, Yeppoon, the coastline and the local beach. The house was extremely clean, and the furnishings were to a very high standard. We stayed there with our family and found that there was plenty of room to spread out, and it was extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here again - it was a wonderful place to stay..

The house met all our expectations from the photos with an amazing view across the bay to Keppel. Great layout, plenty of space and everything you needed was already provided. Wonderful place to stay.

Great place to stay. Close to the beach.

We had a great stay the house was perfect and welcoming. Great walks on the beach and up the hill. Quiet road for kids to ride bikes or cross to the beach. The sunset views from the deck are amazing.

Fantastic house to stay; has everything you need, great location, very responsive and helpful hosts. Walking distance to the beach and close enough that you can hear the waves crashing on the beach. Great little coffee shop around the corner; Ray White gifted us a voucher to use there and we really loved that little treat. We loved our stay in Cooee Bay and our host, would 100% stay with them again

Thank you Mike and Glenda for a wonderful stay. We loved having some provisions in the fridge when we arrived. The house was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed. The room facing the ocean was so airy, light and peaceful. The weather was very hot and the air con was amazing. My children enjoyed the scrabble board. Mike checked in to make sure we were ok and he kindly helped us on garbage day. My whole family had a relaxing and happy time in your lovely cottage by the sea. Recommend 100%!

All good, relaxing house for 4 adults and 4 teenage children, 2 min walk to the beach was great. Good stop off place when travelling down the coast. Ample parking.

What a great stay for myself and my family! The house was great and provided lots of space and plenty of entertainment. Joanna was extremely responsive and friendly throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend to others!

The space was really welcoming, spacious and had everything included to enjoy our time away. To our surprise, an uninterrupted view of the ocean could be seen from the front balcony - this and the constant cool ocean breeze made our stay that much more enjoyable! Tom was very responsive to messages and kindly offered us flexible check-in and check-out, which was appreciated with a newborn baby and two different families meeting together. Highly recommend

Located perfectly for us with easy access to Gracemere and good cafes and restaurants in Rockhampton. Great to stay with kids!

Aileen house was lovely, everything you need, great to have covered off street parking and very quiet at night. Aircond and fans were beautiful after a hot day. Will definitely stay again! Thank you.

The house is beautifully styled, with the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. But what really took our breath away were the gorgeous view of the beach 🏝️ line, weather we were sipping on our coffee or enjoying a glass wine in the evening ,, the views from the veranda was absolutely stunning. And watching the sunrises in the mornings Thank you ☺️

Super cosy place to stay. Great location and well equipped. There’s a lovely pub with amazing food and music just right at the back. The host is super friendly and made us feel like home.

If there was a 6 star rating for John’s hospitality, I would award it. The bonus fully stocked fridge and pantry at our disposal was a lovely surprise. Our doggie loved the daily walks at the beach just around the corner. The kids and husband enjoyed the outdoor sports area with nightly darts competitions. Would definitely visit again.
