The view of Saroj's place is gorgeous and amazing on a clear day. He greeted us after we arrived from a long bus, took us back to our room and was very warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and had a view of the mountains outside our window. The rooftop was also a nice place to hangout and just stare at the mountains. The bathroom was the floor style and not really clean, but those styles of bathrooms tend not to be. We were in a village and living how they do, so it was fine for our stay...but if you're not used to this style of bathroom and not using toilet paper, definitely be prepared to pack your own for a more comfortable experience. It was a treat to have a yummy local breakfast and dinner served to us. the family built a fire every night and invited guests for join while waiting for dinner to be served. Host was super helpful with tips, setting up transportation and other knowledge. We already can't wait to see the Himalayas again. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful experience into Napali countryside living with an amazing family and village.

Great place! The views are spectacular, the food is satisfactory and well priced, and all of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Carol was a great help in assisting us with trekking plans etc. The drive up is a beast, but well worth it! I would definitely recommend this place and I hope I can return one day!

Great peaceful location....just a walking distance from Thamel. The place is clean and well managed. The host is super helpful and friendly.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Mr.Shivram's place. This experience was truly remarkable. Both property and host exceeded our expectations I highly recommend this cottage for relaxing and rejuvenating gateway . In future if we get another chance to visit Kathmandu, we will surely choose this place.

Staying with Kiran’s family - Rakesh and Anita was the perfect home during my placement at Dhulikhel hospital. They made me feel like part of their family. Anita would cook breakfast for me before my hospital shift and I had the option to join their family for delicious dinners each night. They went out of their way to make sure I was having a great time in Nepal taking me on hikes and even attending a wedding with them. Their home made my stay very memorable. I would definitely stay again!!

The staff was friendly but they couldn’t speak English and we weren’t fluent in Nepali so communication was a bit difficult. Laundry was a bit of an issue as they don’t allow washing clothes in the bathroom and the rate is quite high contradicting to what they have stated.
