Places to stay in Lakeport

I believe I have now stayed here 3 or 4 times! It’s my go to on the lake and I won’t settle for any other place! This place is a must stay for anyone visiting the area, and it is especially fisherman friendly. Great boat access and great parking!

We stayed for 2 nights during the spring season. This is a nicely maintained cottage and the owners who live on the property are very friendly/helpful. We had a couple of small issues which were taken care of quickly... other than that we had no major issues. Keep in mind... As described in the listing there are quite a few stairs to navigate within the house. The outside property is very nice and was quiet and peaceful with a great view of the lake. Would stay here again.

Had a great time fishing Lake St Clair with friends. House was as described and host was very accommodating. We had room to park and charge our bass boat which was very helpful.

Cute cottage and at an amazing price. My family had a great time exploring the local areas. Lots of parks for the kids to play at. We enjoyed our time and were happy we could bring our dog with us! Lovely place, thank you again!

The Little House on the Lake is a beautiful place to recharge and enjoy nature. We really appreciated the comfortable bed and cozy spots to relax and stare out at the water. Lexington and Port Sanilac provided plenty to do, and the sunrise on Easter Sunday was amazing to see. We will be back!

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! Also can dock quickly can grab some lunch or anything you forgot on boat! Thanks Again Holly & some fisherman from Ohio

This home was one of the BEST Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in! Extremely clean, sooo comfortable, very spacious, and just perfect! Doreen is an AMAZING host! She was able to accommodate our early check in, and with the unexpected snow, they shoveled the driveway and walk way for us! Communication was great, the home was huge and beautiful. I cant say enough, that this home was super CLEAN! Right on the lake with amazing views! The 4 full bathrooms made this home perfect for our group of 5 adults. We want to stay here every time we are in michigan. You wont regret renting this home!! Oh and the fireplace made the home nice and cozy!!

Loved our time there in January! The house is a perfect gathering spot for family- fantastic kitchen outfitted with everything. Well suited for small children (with crib, single bed in roomy master) yet elegant enough for discerning adults. The activity filled basement is great for kids, teens and adults. Our stay at this beautiful home exceeded all expectations. The house was impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The listing pictures simply do not do it justice—the views are breathtaking, especially the stunning sunrise over the serene lake. The peaceful environment, with its shady trees and calming surroundings, made for a perfect retreat. Our group consisted of two families with four young children, and the host thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly need, including floaties, beach toys, and chairs. It was an absolutely perfect stay, and we cannot wait to book our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay here for a few days. Bought stuff to make breakfast and the house had all the basic necessities to cook (Just missing a baking pan so we couldn't use the oven for the bacon and the fan above the stove wasn't working so fire alarm went off when cooked on the stove on low-med heat. Easy fix- Just open some windows). The location was great and a decent neighborhood. House was really clean and plenty of bath towels, etc. Although no extra blankets, the central heat works well! I would only take maybe half a star off if I could because the couch is different than in the pictures and is very uncomfortable to sit on and watch a movie at night. Overall, it was a great stay for the price and Jim was very nice and communicative.

Krista was very accommodating with a short notice check in, and she was very responsive during the process. The house was perfect for our family, and we enjoyed the private deck with a view of the lake. Kitchen had all the items we needed to cook meals. and the grill was an added bonus. Beds and furniture were very comfortable.

We enjoyed all the comforts of home in this lovely house while getting to know Rochester. Gabe was super responsive and helpful. There was plenty of space to enjoy extended family time. Wooded trails out the back door and an amazing neighborhood park were added bonuses! The kitchen had everything we needed. A great home base for experiencing all that Rochester has to offer!

LOVED staying at Jim’s place. Setting was absolutely perfect! Hard to find, but Jim warned us, so we only passed the driveway once! His place was stunning. The hot tub was SO nice and the view was PERFECTION! We would love to stay there again! We messaged with Jim with our group specific questions and his responses were VERY close to immediate! We had the best weekend! The beds were SUPER comfortable. We would absolutely love to stay here again!!! Definitely highly recommend!

I have the best experience of my life at the lake house. It was my birthday and it’s always the coldest month of the year but this made it the best birthday Ive ever had. Beautiful inside and we spend to much time in the hot tub that was my highlight because I’m anemic and never felt warm and the beauty of the lake and lights at night was perfect.

The space was spotless and incredibly well-maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed for a convenient stay. The host was very welcoming and communicative. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay.

Katie is a great host. Her lakeside hot tub home is as beautiful as pictured. Everything you need can be found throughout the house... in cabinets, drawers, closets. I told her it was my son's birthday and she left him a special birthday treat. She was also very generous with snacks and drinks.
