Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Zug

We loved this place, its hard not to be happy anywhere in Switzerland but being in Thun and in a great airbnb was just magical. All roads feel small to Americans so it might of been a little tight getting there but non the less easy enough. This property was as described and even better than expected. We cant wait to go back.

Was an unforgettable stay. The chalet is very well located and the view is breathtaking! Very cozy and relaxing stay. We all hope to be back in the future!!

Very pleasant few days at Benjamin's apartment on Lake Constance. Ermatingen is a quiet village with typical and traditional Thurgau architecture and an excellent small supermarket close by. Easy to get to the various places of interest. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were able to enjoy one evening supper on the terrace overlooking the lake. There have been some reviews mentioning the train. It is regular but quiet and passes in a flash. Nearby visits to the charming medieval centres of Konstanz, Stein-am-Rhein as well as the majestic Rhein Falls. We used our car but one can equally take the train or the boat. A final word of thanks to Ben for allowing our two dogs to accompany us in his apartment. The weather was unkind to us but the apartment was a cozy home from home.

Andreas and his family are wonderful! They are very kind, helpful and friendly. My 3-year-old daughter despite the Italian language was able to make friends and play with their children. The house is immersed in unspoiled nature and is really beautiful. typical of the area. Despite being in the middle of nowhere it is still 20 minutes from the city of Thun and a few minutes from the village plus close. the access road is very steep but for me it was not a problem. The last piece if I was not completely on the left I would touch under the car. I have a Seat Leon fr 4x4 (very low model). The apartment was really well maintained and very clean. There was everything we needed and with our 1 and 3 year olds we had a great time. There were also games to entertain our children. The double bed was very comfortable and there were different pillows as a choice. In short, I recommend it to anyone who likes nature, tranquility and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Nik has created a very nice oasis where you can feel comfortable and relax! Everything wonderful and Nik is a very helpful and nice host! Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay. The place was amazing and exactly as listed. The hot tub had a perfect view of the mountains.

We were very satisfied, surprised how lovingly and tastefully the apartment was furnished and decorated. The apartment exudes a homely coziness. Esther u Peter are very open and warm people, we will be happy to come back.

Very nice apartment on the farm, we and our children (3 years and 1.5 months) had a great time! We especially liked the animals in the immediate vicinity. The apartment has everything you need and we even got a few small things as a welcome and farewell gift! We will be happy to come back!

Overall all, Grizzy's home was amazing. Exactly what the description stated. Clean, spacious and easy to access. Grizzy was extremely helpful and friendly. Truly a superhost! recommend 10/10

Very clean and brand new house, perfect stay! Responsive and helpful host. The parking right in front of the house is also very convenient. Absolutely recommended We highly recommend staying. If you want to stay in a traditional historic Swiss farmhouse this really is the place for you. Yes, the floorboards creak and the ceilings are low, but nothing you wouldn't expect in a building of this age. It is well described and accurate. The views across the lake to the Rigi are breathtaking. It would be possible to simply sit all day and look out of the window. The accommodation has a lovely modern bathroom, is well equipped and as described. It is up a small private road which would be easy to miss if you didn't follow the clear instructions. Highly recommend a stay here. Jürg is lovely and the surroundings are simply gorgeous.

Lovely place to stay with fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and very friendly owners. It was very peaceful and we felt at home!

Great place for family.

We enjoyed our time at Monica and Stephan’s flat very much! We could take lovely walks in the neighborhood and could just as easily catch public transportation only a couple blocks away. A basket of maps and guidebooks helps you to plan your visit. The flat was very clean, comfortable, and the kitchen stocked with all we needed to fix a simple breakfast or light meal. The bathroom is beautiful and spacious. The beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of spare towels and linen. Our group consisted of 3 adults and a 9-year-old.

Great chalet near the Terminal in Grindelwald with enough space for the whole family. Very friendly owner Natalia who provided us with local recommendations and even longer checkout. Can’t recommend this accommodation enough for your stay in Grindelwald.

For the fourth time in a row, we visited Franziska's beautiful apartment for our girlfriend weekend. It was just wonderful this time too. As soon as you enter through the front door, you feel right at home. We were able to spend incredibly relaxing days in this fantastic apartment again. We can't wait to come back in 2025! We had a wonderful stay at Claudia's place. She greeted us warmly and even offered fresh fruits upon our arrival, which was a lovely gesture. Her communication was excellent, both through texts and in person, making everything smooth and easy. In the afternoon, she kindly took the time to chat with us and share stories about her farm, which made our experience even more special. Overall, she is a warm and friendly host, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

we spent 7 days in Erika's place, it was big, clean and felt like home. the apartment is located in a great area to visit all the attractions in Grindelwald and the area and even not for to go to lucerne for a day. everything was perfect, thanks 🙏
